CONFIRMED Arsenal team to face Chelsea in the FA Cup Final

So the Big Day is here at last, as Arsenal take on Chelsea with the aim of winning their third FA Cup Final in the space of four years, but what formation has Wenger decided to go for with our defensive crisis at the moment.

It was revealed by Wenger yesterday that Wenger was going to keep faith with David Ospina between the sticks, with Petr Cech reported to be devastated to miss the big game against his former club.

Holding, Monreal and Big Mert are the back three, with Koscielny being a big miss after his sending off last week. Both Bellerin and the Ox are placed as the wing-backs-

In the centre we again have Xhaka and Ramsey being given his new roaming midfield role. Ozil and Sanchez were never going to be dropped for this, and Danny Welbeck is given the nod over Giroud.

Come on you Gunners! Let’s do this!

Mertsacker worries me, he is not a bad player but I feel it is a big game for him knowing fully well that he has been injured this season and haven’t really played in this new formation apart from as a sub against Everton. Hopefully, the midfielders will help the defense. Prove us wrong Mertsacker. C’mon Arsenal. I wanna win this!

    Man, we need more than a miracle, Ospina needs to play the game of his life, The ref needs to be a secret Gooner, the whole of the Chelsea squad including their manager need to be suffering from hangover and then maybe, just maybe, we might have half a chance ?

  20. I feel sorry for Cech, with our defensive problems can’t understand why Wenger has left out our most experienced player, especially as it looks like Ossian is leaving this summer.

    Well, it’s either that or Chelsea are still hungover from their title celebrations lol.. I can imagine them saying “hey, fork it, it’s only Arsenal in the final” as they popped open another crate of champagne.

    Shame Ozil’s chip wasn’t hit a little bit harder. (Off the line)
    Shame Welbeck hit the post & Ramsey couldn’t juggle the ball in from 2 inches out.
    Shame we had another chance cleared off the line.

    Unbelievably we could have been 4 nil up at the break?

  53. This kind of perfomance is what you get after you have been humiliated out of the CL after 19 years presence.. Congratulations Arsenal and Wenger but still want him gone. Arrogance prevented him from adopting the current formation for years after Sunday-Sunday football teams adopted it.
