Could Arsenal sell Alexis with Chelsea keen in January?

Chelsea are claimed to be eyeing a move to sign Alexis Sanchez come January, but would Arsenal really sell?

Our club turned down £60 Million on this summer’s deadline day from Manchester City, but was believed to have agreed that they would have sold him had Thomas Lemar agreed to join the club.

The Chilean remains ever-likely to quit the club by next season regardless, with his contract up come the end of the current campaign, and he will need to be replaced in some shape or form, and surely a transfer fee could help in landing his eventual successor.

The Citizens have previously been claimed to be unwilling to be held to ransom over a fee this winter, knowing he will be available for free in the close-season, but all this talk will be none and void when the offers come rolling in thick and fast.

PSG are believed to be ready to offer him a £10 Million signing on fee to agree to join them for free come the summer, while we are supposedly eyeing a potential swap deal involving Draxler this winter.

Chelsea are the latest name to be thrown into the ring, with their supposed lack of attacking options having led them to consider a January deal, with his eligibility for the Champions League a boost also.

Surely Arsenal would only agree to sell the forward should they manage to find a replacement as was the situation in August, and he may be forced to see out his contract depending on our position within the Premier League and other competitions.

We look almost certain to still be in the hunt for Europa League glory, a feat accomplished by Manchester United last season, and Alexis could well be kept in order to target the competition in order to seal Champions League football for the following year.

Could we be persuaded to sell come January? Would it be better to sell to Chelsea than Man City? Will our campaign decide his future?
