Jakub Kiwior could depart Arsenal this summer as interest in the defender continues to grow. The Polish international has been in fine form for much of the current campaign, despite often being utilised as a backup option rather than a regular starter.
Whenever called upon, Kiwior has delivered strong performances, making the most of his opportunities and striving to earn more playing time. However, with William Saliba and Gabriel firmly established as the club’s first-choice central defenders, his chances of displacing either remain slim.
Crystal Palace Eyeing a Move
Reports suggest that Crystal Palace have identified Kiwior as a potential signing, with the club preparing for the likely departure of Marc Guehi. The defender is in advanced discussions over a transfer, with Liverpool currently leading the race for his signature. Although Arsenal also hold an interest in Guehi, the Merseyside club is considered the frontrunner at this stage.
According to Football Transfers, Palace views Kiwior as an ideal replacement for their outgoing captain and is expected to make an official approach. The situation could develop quickly, with Guehi’s anticipated exit accelerating Palace’s pursuit of the Polish defender.

Potential Impact on Arsenal’s Squad
While Kiwior has largely been a squad player, his departure would still leave a gap in Arsenal’s defensive depth. His versatility and composure have made him a dependable option when injuries or rotation require changes at the back. Should he move on before the close of the transfer window, the Gunners would need to act swiftly to secure a suitable replacement and maintain their options across the back line.
For now, Kiwior’s future remains uncertain, but with interest intensifying and potential moves in motion, the coming weeks could see him trading North London for a new challenge in the Premier League.

If there’s any truth in this, then maybe a deal involving a certain Mr Eze anyone!. 👍
Seems a logical thing for the club to try to do if they really want Eze.
Hi hope so amazing player
Kiwior is worth at least £50m due to his epl experience. Any team that wants him has to paid that amount for him. If palace want him let em pay up or we swap and add 5m for eze.
If he was a Chelsea player that the amount they sell him for if not above.
Correct !
Phoenix,
Your £50M valuation is a bit of an over estimation for what is a back-up player. And your also forgetting that in this case we’re the selling club, and with our recent record regards selling is not good is it.
You mention Chelsea would demand that for one of their players. That’s certainly true if we were the team buying from them. But remember, we sell a lot of our players cheaper because other clubs know we need to clear some out. So they just bide their time, and wait for the said players price to go down.
It’s been a common problem in recent years. And I say good luck to Berta, he’s going to need it.
This would accelerate Eze deal you want Kiwor we also want Eze here is Kiwor 30 Million off from Eze price we pay the balance
While he may be “worth” £50m to fans, it’s highly unlikely Arsenal will get that much for him I would have thought.
Kiwior is only worth what another club will pay for him. If they won’t pay a higher amount at the end of the day, he isn’t worth it.
Agree
Phoenix……50mill?????
Really for a player that’s on you’re get rid list
You won’t be getting Eze & we ain’t being mugged of 50mill for a squad player
Very true
You know Arsenal are not good on the numbers when it comes to selling players and besides, nobody will buy Kiwior for 50 😜🤪
I’d rather keep Kiwior. He has shown himself to be a dependable deputee.. I’ve seen Kiwior come in cold at fullback and in CB and done well. These players aren’t easy to replace
I can also see something in this.
I know we are the selling club, but it doesn’t look like we are actively trying to sell Kiwior. If it was up to me he would be one of the players we actually try keep for that depth we need. So if that is the case, I think other club may be willing to pay a little more to get him. I mentioned in another article that I thought he was worth around 35M, however as PG mentioned (which I didn’t take into account), due to his PL experience, I would look closer to 40M. I think 50M is pushing it a bit.
Also regarding Eze, is it not also up to him at the moment? I think the prospect of being the main man at spuds is quite attractive to him unfortunately.
Let it be aswap deal and its going to be awin win situation.
Pay Palace what they demanded and keep Kiwior. He understands Arsenal well as a dependable deputy already.
It would be a great mistake to let Jacob go. What if Gabriel get who chip in perfectly like him.
With such experience you let him join your rivals in the league
At least let Alexander go and keep Jacob
