There is a positive spin Pep Guardiola can put on his team not playing well this season while still being only four points off the top of the league. Sir Alex Ferguson used to say he ignored the table until March or April, only caring at this time of year that his team were within touching distance of the leaders.
Man City will be boosted by Arsenal looking crippled by the fear of failure, which is why we should have stepped on their necks when we had the chance.
Whatever Arsenal’s result on Saturday, we could do with a favour the next day. Unfortunately, City travel to a club least likely to want to do that. I am not questioning the professionalism of the Spurs players, but can you trust their fans to create an intimidating atmosphere? They might even cheer an away goal.

In a game like this I’d start with Ben I think he offers more going forward, don’t get me wrong Timber is great and probably better than Ben all-round but attacking wise White has an edge over him.

There’s a lot of noise surrounding Arsenal at the money, some of it maybe deserved, but a whole lot of it is a forced narrative fodder by a few folks within with a social media presence and the large majority from outside the fanbase that see an Arsenal stumble as a smoke for the inevitable fire of yet another fumbling of that big ears mug.
They are hungry to see Arsenal capitulate another lead so they can wallow in further of the north London outfit failures.
But Arsenal big characters players like Rice, Jesus, Magahlase and the Big German etc are acutely aware of this, and with only 35 points left to take this, whoever catches us shall surely win.

Well , I knew there would be a reaction from the man united game.
But calling it as I saw it, then I would have been called extreme arrogance.
This forced narrative, that Arsenal may need just this one big performance to give fans assurance, am not buying it, one bit 🙂
