Deadline Day Poll: Where do you as fans want Arsenal to concentrate on today?

Today is full of excitement, as is every Deadline Day, but what are you as fellow fans hoping to see from today?

Many of you will just be happy not to see Aaron Ramsey leave the club, and some may just be happy not to see another midfielder come in who could be viewed as his potential replacement, with minor talk that he could still seal a move abroad, which wouldn’t need to be wrapped up until later transfer deadlines.

There is still plenty of talk about the potential capture of Ousmane Dembele on a loan deal, although the fee being booted about is on the outrageous side. A winger of his stature could be a strong place to look however, with a place alongside Ozil and Mkhitaryan likely to be shared by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alex Iwobi at present.

Other places that we may believe ourselves to be weak could be in goal, at left-back or even at centre-back depending on your opinions, so I ask you, which position would you most like strengthened today, or is Aaron Ramsey the only situation you will keeping your eyes on?

  1. We have to play to the whistle which means having faith till the ultimate deadline countdown….anything can still happen…we can still have dembele or the winger that we wish for…arsenal are working hard to get a winger..trust me

    1. Arsenal would be foolish if they pay 100+M for a young player that hardly featured in World Cup, did not play at his best last season and cannot dribble past the opponents consistently like Mbappe

I’m glad that the rumor has subsided, because Arsenal could buy two high quality players with that amount of money

    2. So I guess our first loan bid was rejected. So what I said was true.Barca didn’t want him to go on loan at first. They wanted him to be sold and this was consistent with them wanting funds for Pogba.
I don’t know if they are now reconsidering but the first loan offer was rejected

      1. Kev, you are right, it really is a guessing game, isn’t it? I am happy that this is the last day of guessing and we can start focusing on the season tomorrow.

    3. trust you CHIZA !!!, are you serious ???. after all the lies that you have spouted on here, really . no way , how can anybody trust you on here from now on .you are now going back on your word , you think you are being clever with your choice of words, but everybody knows that you have been found out , at last. maybe now you might retire that mouth of yours, and give us all a break on here, please .

  2. Ousmane Dembele is not an explosive winger ala Salah, Mane, Sane or Messi. I watched him for the whole last season and he is more suited for playing as a tactical CAM

That was why Barcelona has been replacing their wingers (Dos Santos, El Haddadi, Deulofeu, etc) and now Malcom, because none of them can fulfill the role

An explosive winger is highly required because Ozil, Mkhitaryan and Lacazette cannot dribble past the opponents consistently. Only Aubameyang and Nelson can do that up to a certain extent

    1. Auba?Mkhitaryan and Iwobi are far better dribbler than him.Sorry to say but Auba is mostly about intelligent use of pace but some parts of his games are really lacking just like any other player.

    2. I’d say Mikhi and Laca are better dribbler than Auba … I just hope Emery will start Laca upfront against City at least Laca can create chances

  3. If Boateng goes to PSG then we should go in for kimbempe. A winger would be nice but we can manage till January if need be. Our centrebacks look like donkeys though ?. I dread seeing what Aguero and co would do to them ?

  4. 5/10

    City have strengthened
    Liverpool have strengthened
    Manure have strengthened (slightly)

Yet again it’s spurs us and Chelsea for 4th

Yawn we have blown it. Stan kroenke out
Emery not given the tools for change.

    Some things never change .
    Joke

    1. We are just too far behind the arm race Muffy, compared to City Pool Manure &Chelsea. Will take years to catch up unless Kronke dips into his own pocket and pulls out a £300m plus transfer kitty!
Afraid our only hope is UEFA makes 5th spot finish available for CL qualification.

  5. What is the exact
    Home Grown /non home grown
    U21 places at this moment?
My guess right now is as follows.
    14 non Home grown
    Cech Leno
    Licht Monreal Kola
    Mustf Socritis
    Torreira Xhaka Elneny
    Ozil Mkhi Laca Auba.
    6 Home Grown
Martinez? Bell Hold Ramsey Iwobi Welbeck
4 U21 Niles Nelson Mavro Guendouzi
If the injured Koscielny is part of the 25 then there are
15 non HG our maximum if we only have 6 home grown.
But then we have only 21 senior players.
We can add 4 senior players as long as they are home grown.
It means Jenkinson might stay :(. So could have Chambers.
Ospina and Campbell have to leave surely.
Hope some one can give us the exact numbers please.
