Do Arsenal already have the perfect Cazorla replacement?

Santi Cazorla’s Arsenal contract is set to run out at the end of the season and although it is likely be renewed, so who could replace him as boss of our build up play whe Santi retires?

The creative spark that the Spaniard possesses is incredibly rare and you would think he would be extremely hard to replace, but there just may be one forgotten man who may be ready to step up.

Jack Wilshere was sent out on loan to Bournemouth this summer following a string of frustrating seasons spent mostly on the sidelines, and has managed to play more in the past four months with the Cherries than he had done in his two previous years with us.

Jack has always been hailed as one who was great at seeing a forward pass, and has been highly rated by all his coaches for his quick thinking and eye for a ball, and had he stayed fit this whole time, there is little doubt in my mind that he would still be starring for our first-team on a regular basis.

We must all remember that world class display against Barcelona in 2011, as does Spain and Barcelona legend Xavi who is regularly talking out in the press about our midfielder, in which he run the Barca midfielders ragged over the two fixtures. In London, they had no answer for him, if they come in close, the ball seemed to stick to his feet and he managed to manoeuvre his way out, and if they stood off, his turn of pace saw him blitz past them, not to mention his creative spark that flowed as he oozed confidence out.

He has had many struggles since, but I’m certainly excited to see Jack the Lad back fit again, and cant wait for him to get back to his best in an Arsenal shirt.

Do you agree that Jack Wilshere can return and take over from Santi as our midfield dynamo?
