Yes we do, Eze is highly technical and excell as a dead ball specialist.
The Crystal Palace Man should be given the number # 10 shirt after signing on the dotted line.
In the pass when our Captain unable to play for one reason or another, there is a massive dip in creativity, Eze could rotate with Captain Odegaard or plays in the same team further up on the left.

Come on now, we’ve criticized the size of the squad in the past. So now the club are finally trying to add depth we can’t now start slating them for it.
Plus it gives Arteta no excuse for not rotating more when needed. And if they play the amount of game we hope they do, then the squad size will also be needed.
Yes we do need Eze None of the three alternatives with exception of Trossard can be relied upon week in week Eze is a big upgrade on what we already have and proven in Premier league I would not have bought Madueke but I suppose he can cover for Sska on right wnen required Eze could be the difference between winning trophies and can play on left or as main creator when Odegaard is below par
But he has a point!!!!!!! And I have never used the size of our squad as an excuse. For me some used it last season, there was a different one the year before and a different excuse the year before that. And I would bet, there will be another excuse for some next season. Our squad is huge and strong but that is not the way we are going to win the league. What about all the other faults?

Eze absolutely played spurs and strung them along, he’ll deserve all the sol Campbell esque stick he gets when he comes to Tottenham. FLB is entitled to his opinion but he is apparently under the impression that we signed Eze to play on the left wing when he will be vying with Odegaard for the playmaker role..He is used wide left by Palace in a strict 3-4-3 set up which Arteta is highly unlikey to replicate.The main casualty of the Eze signing is likely to be Nwaneri whose game time this season is likely to be very limited
Arteta will have different ideas about Eze Grandad.
Come to think about it, I am fancying another possibility that Eze or Madueke may take the left and Martinelli may be moved to the front to deputize for Havertz. A tall and strong Gyokerez backed by a nimble and fast Martinelli can be quite a style transition for any defense to deal with. It is cadence change that can throw our opponents unprepared.
What a window so far, as a fan, I cannot ask for more. The exodus of some players is the only business left for us. Berta and Korenke family, hats off to your great work.
I think Martinelli may be sold if there is solid interest in him. The fact that Eze can play in midfield also increases competition there. Zubimendi and Odengard will most likely play every game they are available for (unless they play really badly or are just rotated a few times). I think Merino and Rice will have less minutes in that left midfield position.
The biggest thing for me is Eze taking a bit of the creative burden off Odegaard’s shoulders.
I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but when he went through his bad patch last season, it just looked like he was trying too hard.
You can’t take anything away from Odegaard’s defensive reading of the game and pressing though.
