It could be either Arsene Wenger or Arsenal Football Club in general that some wise head from the English football authorities is not too keen on, to be honest, or maybe even the fact that they just love Chelsea or Antonio Conte. I am certainly not going to suggest that the multi billionaire Roman Abramovic could have used his wealth and power to gain an unfair advantage because we know that this sort of thing would never be allowed by those in charge of the beautiful game (cough, cough, sorry got a bit of Qatar in my throat).
It is pretty hard, though, to understand the wisdom of the FA in appointing Anthony Taylor as the referee for this season’s FA cup final between the Gunners and the winners, sorry I mean Chelsea. To be fair to Taylor, I do not think he is the worst EPL ref by any stretch of the imagination. I suppose they could have given it to Mike Dean.
The problem with Taylor is his very recent history with our manager, which included some swear words from Wenger (excuse his French) and a bit of pushing thrown into the bargain. Arsenal have not exactly been on the right end of many controversial decisions for years, but you could always put this down to personal error and the natural rose tinted glasses that all fans wear.
Giving the FA cup final to Taylor, however, is like someone needing the antidote to a life threatening poison and giving the cure to the man who just shagged his wife, unlikely to end well for the man in trouble. So do the FA hate Arsenal, or Wenger, or both?

Mate, It’s getting to that stage where everyone is hating on Wenger and Arsenal. What do you expect when the Majority of our own fans hate Wenger and then that hate turns towards the club for keeping him there!

Think it would’ve worse if it was Jon Moss – Taylor was only in the firing line, but he does act like an officious twit on occasions. On that matter, why aren’t referees required to have a basic level of fitness? That would exclude Jon Moss from refereeing – the reason he gets everything wrong, is because he is normally at the opposite end of the pitch to which the offences happen.
Let arsenal play well, there r some goals ref can’t disallow. We shouldn’t be expecting penalty n we should be disciplined in our box not to cause penalty for d blue.
but the 50/50 will all go to them, offside goals will go to them, you know when you are unjustly judged, you feel the pressure and end up doing something ridiculous that will make you lose. very few (Messi) could turn that unjust treatment to their own advantage
It seems to me that Arsenal fans have reached the point where there are only one or two acceptable refs who aren’t “against” Arsenal.
I would much rather that the club focused more on football and less on refs and others periferals.

Since Mr. Wenger blamed every match he lost on bad officiating. He has succeeded in fooling gullible fans that almost all the refs in epl is against him and Arsenal.
