This is very worrying, as the usual Sky “sources” are saying that Arsenal are in talks to sign Steven N’Zonzi from Sevilla.
Sky reported: Arsenal are in talks to sign Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, according to Sky sources.
Gunners boss Unai Emery worked with N’Zonzi during his time at the Spanish club.
N’Zonzi previously enjoyed spells with Blackburn Rovers and Stoke before joining Sevilla in 2015.
The 29-year-old, who is currently on international duty with France at the World Cup, has made 136 appearances for Sevilla, scoring eight times.
Okay we all know that it may take some time for Torreira to settle in to London life, just as his father said the other day, and we also know that N’Zonzi is proven in the Premier League and knows exactly how Emery wants him to play after their time together in Sevilla.
But the worry is; Is N’Zonzi being targeted because Torreira is far from a done deal? Or is he to be competition for the central midfield role.

“It is as good as a fact that Lucas will join Arsenal.

yeah lets not forget Martinez’s failures. I had huge (for me) money on Belgium today too because they are man for man just as talented as Brazil and the prices were a joke. Martinez still has his faults why he is in international and has henry on his staff frankly. Neville was on the Engalnd staff before and we did nothing and he went and failed at management. International is a weird beast. Southgate has done well because he handles our insane media perfectly and has somehow instilled a team spirit in the camp. Tactics matter little they have too short a time with the players for that. Took pep a year to get City on board day in day out.

This World Cup has been poor in the Quality of it’s Football , the big teams have been tactically naive and it is understandable since none of the head coaches are comparable to their counterparts in Big clubs. Compare Spain Head coach to Guardiola , France head Coach to Zidane , Germany Head Coach to Klopp (Although low is actually good tactically , but internal conflicts ruined Germany team this time) , Argentina head Coach to Pochettino or Simeone and etc.

lmao, Martinez is no genius. Game against Japan was a disaster, the guy played Witsel next to KDB. He knows how to get the best out of Lukaku for sure though. But brilliant players can look make average managers look very good. At the end of the day Belgium has tons and tons of talent that matches that of Brazil.
