Arsenal are reportedly pursuing the signing of Eberechi Eze in the current transfer window, and their interest in the Crystal Palace star has become one of the most widely acknowledged topics in football circles. The Gunners continue to show ambition in the market and view Eze as a key target to further bolster their attacking options.
Eze has shown remarkable development over recent seasons, evolving into one of the most technically gifted and dynamic attacking players in the game. His ability to influence matches through creativity, pace and composure has seen him emerge as a standout performer at both domestic and international levels.
A Breakthrough Season for Eze and Palace
Last season proved to be a landmark one for Crystal Palace, with Eze playing a central role in their success. His contributions were instrumental as the club enjoyed strong campaigns in both the league and the FA Cup. The latter culminated in Palace securing their first major trophy, a historic achievement in which Eze’s performances were particularly pivotal.
Understandably, his influence has attracted attention from top clubs, and the South London side now faces the real prospect of losing one of their prized assets. Arsenal’s intent remains firm, even after an active summer of transfer dealings that have seen them significantly reinforce their squad. Despite these additions, the club continues to prioritise quality and depth, with Eze fitting the profile of the type of player they wish to integrate into their system.

Transfer Momentum Gathers Pace
As cited by Talk Sport, journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that Eze has been interested in a move to Arsenal for some time. According to the report, the attacker is open to the switch and would welcome the challenge it presents. Arsenal are expected to submit an official offer before the window closes, amid suggestions that Eze’s release clause has expired.
The pursuit of Eze highlights Arsenal’s commitment to strengthening every department. While the squad has been notably enhanced already, elite-level clubs understand the importance of competition and squad depth. Eze’s hunger to succeed, regardless of internal competition, will be viewed as a key asset should the move materialise.
His arrival would inject further creativity and versatility into the team, and his willingness to prove himself at a higher level suggests he would embrace the opportunity with full commitment.

According to a report from Football London, he may have to wait as Arsenal could be looking to Diaz, a much cheaper option at Real Madrid instead. Who knows, but I wouldn’t be surprised if, after all the speculation over Eze during the past weeks, Arsenal didn’t end up with someone else. We’ll see.
This is an interesting part of the transfer period to me. That is, will we go further and get Eze or spend significantly for someone else that could be seen as that extra signing to potentially be the difference maker in getting us to a title? Based only on the past, I would definitely not expect anyone else in the door. It has certainly been an effective window of acquisitions imo thus far; but has Arsenal’s ambition (as many refer to it) also changed for this window?
this one is going to be another stressful saga to the fans.
Am an Asrsnal fan from The Gambia. I am really impress so far what I saw with regards to the activities in the teansfer market. Hopefully it will pay us dividend by clinching the 2025/2026 premier league season.
I fear for our midfield that is full of steel players and little or no creativity, look how we struggled against spurs, we haven’t learnt a thing from last season have, striker is not only our major problem, but a creative CM that can help underwhelming odegaard together with an upgrade for the awful martinelli are the problem and so far we’ve been only able to solve 1 problem.
May God help us
I like that Eze is right-footed, with Odegaard being left-footed. Same with our strikers, we have a righty and a lefty
