Final predictions for the Everton v Arsenal game

Just one more day to go before we face off against Everton where a win or draw will take us back into the third spot in the Premier League and following on from my earlier article here that provided three early predictions for the game, I now have two more to complete the set.

I have already gone with the following predictions

Arsenal 2-1 @ 9/1
Draw 2-2 @ 12/1
Arsenal to win and over 2.5 goals @ 21/10

You can already see that I fancy there being goals in the game and that both teams will score and that brings me on to the following prediction

Both teams to score and Arsenal to win @ 16/5

I am confident we will win, the Draw 2-2 prediction from earlier is a basic insurance policy and a 2-1 scoreline to us is my most favoured pick and that is why I do like the look of us winning but with Everton scoring, unfortunately.

Now for my final pick of the game and it is for my main man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

I do expect him to start and I will be backing the Gabon superstar to be the first goalscorer in the game.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang first goalscorer @ 4/1

I can see Aubameyang getting behind the Toffees defence on a regular basis and with his speed and powerful shot, I would not be surprised if he gets on the score sheet quite early on.

That is my five picks for the game and as usual, these are my own personal opinions, I am not recommending anyone to bet.

I’d be happy with a draw, because Everton have big game players and no away game is easy in EPL nowadays

But one or zero point will be detrimental to the players’ mentality. They need a boost before facing Napoli

  2. lando lee says:

yeah i go with 2 : 3 arsenal to win.

  3. Samuel Akinsola Adebosin says:

I think and believe Arsenal will cancel out Everton in the game and win the match by 2 goals to nil despite their playing at away. Therefore, let there be no any concern shown by any Gooner as to whether Arsenal will beat Everton or not in the Premier League match encounter between the duo club sides tomorrow afternoon at Goodison Park. Because for sure, the Gunners will beat the Toffers and win the match comfortable with some ease conserving energy in the game ahead of their hosting Napoli at the Ems in the Europa League next week’s Thursday night. I think we’ll welcome back Xhaka and Torreria and watch Xhaka start the match at the Arsenal midfield base.

My 3-3-3 Arsenal starting XI and the 7 Gunners bench I think and want to see Emery use to play the match are as below.

    Mustafi Sokratis Monreal:
    Guendouzi Xhaka Kolasinac;
    Lacazette Aubameyang Iwobi.

Cech Jenkinson Koscielny Torreria Elneny Ozil Nkethia.

    1. Declan says:

Er, you’ve only picked 9 outfield players which would put us a disadvantage before we even kick off ?

      1. Midkemma says:

Lol, looks like Samuel is overly confident XD

Although, if you replace Iwobi with Ozil (ACM) and put AMN as the RWB then it looks alright 🙂

      2. jon fox says:

Declan, Well I suppose he did call it a 3-3-3, so though his maths is not the best, his confidence is sky high. Wish mine was the same but if Mustafi plays, esp in away games , I am NEVER confident.

  4. Midkemma says:

Anyone else read what Emery has said about transfers?

“We can also achieve [buy] some players who are in other teams, who can come here and give us this performance – like Van Dijk with Liverpool .”
““We can share both situations. Developing players with us and [finding] some players who we can spend money on to help us,”

We may get surprised… We may see Arsenal go for a CB who is needed to help the high line and solidarity. Might not… But it is promising top hear Emery say he wants a CB like Liverpool did with VVD.

    1. jon fox says:

It would be a darned sight MORE promising had he INSTEAD said KROENKE is about to sell the club. But I guess what he HAS said sounds promising; as promising as anything can be while the monster Kroenke owns us.

      1. Midkemma says:

Silent Stan isn’t stopping us from spending, we can spend what we make and we do make a lot as a club.

We bought Auba 6 months after Laca.

If Silent Stan was blocking us from spending then we wouldn’t have Auba and Laca.

Show me that Arsenal do not have Auba and Laca because Silent Stan blocked us spending then I’ll listen to your rantings about a man you have never met.
