Arsenal have finally agreed a deal to sign Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United as the Gunners look to ensure they have the strongest possible squad to defend their league title this season.

BG is a top quality central midfielder who has the added ingredient of being a goal scorer.My only reservation concerns his age in relation to the transfer fee of 75m but bearing in mind that we made around 55m from our Champions League campaign last season, we have not paid a huge premium for the services of someone, who is not only a great player, but a great leader.I am sure he will strengthen our engine room and enable Arteta to ease the pressure on the likes of Rice and Zubemendi.
I saw clips on line yesterday of Bruno giving a lot of our players his trademark ‘treatment’, in particular to Declan, so I’m thinking he might just get a few special welcomes to the Arsenal 💪🤣
