Following Eddie Nketiah this season will pay off in more ways than one

Eddie Nketiah is one of the most exciting youngsters that Arsenal has produced in years, he was on fire in pre-season and to be honest, I did expect him to feature heavily for the Gunners this season.

But the signing of Nicolas Pepe changed the dynamics a little and so I was not surprised to see the 20-year-old loaned out to Leeds United, a loan deal I entirely agree with.

The young forward will learn massively under Leeds coach Marcelo Bielsa, who is highly regarded by the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Diego Simeone, in fact, Pep Guardiola calls him the best coach in the world.

I will be following Nketiah at Leeds all season long, because I know that the better he does at Elland Road, the better the player we get back next summer.

I believe Nketiah will be a huge success in the Championship and I have already taken a little bit of the huge 18/1 on offer for him being the top Championship scorer.

That is a bet that many in Leeds and North London will be doing and all over the globe where it is possible, including online betting in NJ, Nigeria, and anywhere else there is a huge Arsenal fan base.

I can see Bielsa using Eddie on a regular basis and judging by his recent comments when he said: “The most important thing with Nketiah is that he is a special player and he doesn’t need a lot of instructions to follow his style of game”

“He’s a striker and the team will accommodate him, rather than him accommodating to the team.”

Well, that says it all for me, that is a killer comment “the team will accommodate him, rather than him accommodating to the team.”

That makes the top goalscorer punt even more attractive and remember, Leeds are favourites to win the Championship.

So yeah, I will be following Eddie all season, mainly to see how he progresses under Bielsa, but also to see how my little bet does.

  1. Bielsa was popular as one of best managers in the past and his comment is flattering for Nketiah

I hope Nketiah wouldn’t have any problem during his loan period like Sanogo/ Gnabry and hopefully he can come back strongly like Coquelin
