Forget respect! Arsenal just need to BEAT Mourinho!

It may be annoying for Arsenal fans to hear Jose Mourinho regularly aiming digs at Arsene Wenger and our club and I agree with our manager and others like the Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini who have criticised the Chelsea boss for the way he talks about other clubs and rival managers, but there is only one real way for us to rise above all the mind games and that is to beat him. Do we really care if he disrespects us if we beat him? I would love him to prove that he is just as bad a lose as he is a winner.

From his recent comments about it being more boring to not win a title than it is to play negative and defensive football, it is clear that winning is all that matters to Mourinho, no matter what you have to do to achieve it. I am not suggesting that the Gunners play in the same way as all his teams end up doing, because I love the entertaining football that we have had at Arsenal under Wenger.

But the prof has been a bit more pragmatic this season, especially in the big games against our Premier League rivals. And he must continue to do that next season as we really want to see the smug grin wiped off Mourinho´s face. We want the title of course but in order to do that I think we have to get over the obstacle of the Chelsea bus.

Do that and I think the Premier League trophy will be ours next year. What do you think Gooners?

Wenger needs to beat Mourinho over (at least) 38 games. It’s no good having local bragging rights, but then have nothing to parade about come May. I would take losing to Mourinho if it meant winning the league, I couldn’t care less for what that tosser has to say regarding us. Of course it would be the icing on top of the cake if we were to beat him, but it isn’t a necessity to win the PL. So all this talk of Wenger not having what it take to beat him means nothing if he could win the 36 other games in the PL.

Talk about respect is correct but people like Mourinho can only be silenced on the pitch. WE ALL SAW HOW PEP GUARDIOLA AND BARCELONA FRUSTRATED HIM DURING HIS TIME AT REAL MADRID.

Like Henry said he must strengthen this team and not get carried away with 2nd/3rd position and possible FA Cup. I REPEAT WE WILL NOT WIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE OR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WITH THIS SQUAD. WE need a Costa type striker (Nothing wrong with Giroud) who can score by making his own goals apart from taking clear chances, Additional creativity to fight for OZIL (No disrespect but for 42M he has not proved to be a game changer in Big games – Better players even cost less e.g Costa, Hazard- HE MUST DO MORE) and Cazorla position. A Defensive midfielder (I still love Coquelin) and possible defender. OSPINA is okay for Goalkeeper.

OT: but tomorrow will be the first time I ever wanted Spurs to win after seeing the Utd result today. Also even though we play on Monday we will have 2 games in hand on both Utd and City until then when we play away at Hull…

REALLY truly that is what the response is and it is not too difficult but requires performance from the players and serious time on computer for le prof. recruiting players is needed but not bcos the ones available cannot beat mourinho,no. it is just le prof is always avoiding chance of injuries and saving players for next game, though no guaranty nxt game will be won. players that will do the job must be quick, focused, unpredictable, confuse the bus captain in the box from edge, press central more.

I hope the board look at what Jose has said and we buy 2/3 top quality plays. It will be worth it just to shut the Portuguese t**t up.

I’m with a few others on here that are bored of hearing JM’s name on this site. Sure we need to beat Chelsea but let’s just move on for now and focus on the end of our own season. A few choice signings in the summer, more luck with injuries and a solid pre season and we’ll be good to go. Ps love the fact MU lost at home today, 3 points for us on Monday and that should be minimum 3rd and we can then focus on city. Despise MU so very keen to finish above them 🙂
