Had Arsene still be in arsenal most of these prodigy players that faded away under Arteta would have flourished and turned into real assets.

I rated Patino highly and was very sorry to see him leave.
It’s always disappointing for young players to not break through despite the early promise. While not getting opportunities at Arsenal he played on loan elsewhere before going to Spain in the second tier
I disagree with Cynthia’s assessment that AW could have done a better job. It’s a suggestion too far for my reasons above. Being at a club like Arsenal with a strong academy must be every youngsters’ dream and the vast majority don’t break through and have to settle for lower levels. Talent and mentality don’t always come along together
