Full Arsenal injury update ahead of Leicester City game – Aubz and Xhaka okay?

It is now that time again where we relay the latest official injury updates on the players ahead of the Leicester game, and for the first time in a few weeks there is no Granit Xhaka to worry about. With Arsenal’s away form at the moment I wouldn’t be keen on backing them whoever is playing, but if you are brave, then I suggest you get the Genting bet code before putting your money on. At least you can get your money back if they lose!

Up front, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been added to the injury list but it is nothing too serious but is very ikely to be back in contention. The Gabon international had a small procedure on a sinus and he will be assessed ahead of the game against the Foxes on Sunday.

Two players that will definitely miss the match are Aaron Ramsey, who continues to undergo treatment on his left hamstring and Denis Suarez, who is sidelined with his groin, which feels like a permanent feature these days.

As for the long term injured of Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck there is nothing new to report, all three continue to go through the rehabilitation process and will not play in any games this season.

So, the only concern is Aubameyang and if I had to make a guess right now, I would say he is likely to play on Sunday, it is only his sinus and if anything he would be fresh.

This means that outside the long term injured and I would include Suarez in that category now, Unai Emery will have every single player available and therefore there can be no excuses if we embarrass ourselves once again.

  1. It doesn’t matter.
    We will get nowhere.
Not even with a “completely unai” team.
The players can’t wait for their holidays, why would they turn up with such performances otherwise?

    1. stick with Fifa19 or support the club

      1. Agreed, it’s the same with Unai. you would think you’d get used to fickle fans by now but it still irks me. Win one week = Unai is a genius and arsenal are on the up. Lose the next = Unai is clueless and arsenal are doomed. IMO we have seen clear improvements from last season. We are challenging for CL on two fronts with a good chance of making it. Everyone ease up and CHILL! Judge Unai at the end of season because up until now he’s done a very good job all things considered

    2. I think so too, because they have higher salaries compared to the other top EPL clubs’ players and they are living London jetset lifestyle. Perhaps they can’t wait to spend it on their vacations

It is reflected on their away performances. They have disciplinary issues and easily give up just because there are fewer supporters at the opposition’s turf

Can’t forget the players’ attitude when playing against Tottenham under cold rain in Wembley. I hope they let the passionate youngsters like Nketiah start ahead of one of our strikers. I don’t think Nketiah could do worse than them on the flanks

  2. It’s gonna be another loss tomorrow. Don’t get your hopes up. The best way to support Arsenal these days and not get a heart ache is to expect the worst and hope for the best!
That way, you are psychologically prepared for our usual Jekyll and Hyde performances.

    1. Spot on Abel! That is exactly how I feel.. expect a loss & anything else is a bonus. It’s terrible having to feel this way though isn’t it? ?

  3. In Orwell`s 1984 it was a crime to be negative. Watch out the PC guys will get you.
Arsenal to win 10-0, that should get them off my back.

    1. Arsenal’sproblem is the manager and the board. Manager keeps on rotating players unnecessary and keeps on players Who are doing nothing on the pitch for 90 minutes. Like Mateo G. When it comes for substitute players, he simply goes for Ozil and lacazzet. This is so annoying beyond. And the board doesn’t want to release money for good managers and good players. We the funs suffer heart attack whenever arsenal is playing. Unai is not the right manager for arsenal if Arsenal is to test the glory of trophy. And Arsenal must clear most of the those players and replace them with world class players. Abraham from Uganda the pearl of Africa.
