Galatasaray do not plan to end talks with Arsenal over Gabriel Martinelli soon, even though their opening offer does not appear to be good enough. The Brazilian attacker could be sold this summer for the right price, and Arsenal are working as hard as they can to ensure that happens quickly so they can sign a replacement.
Martinelli has been one of Arsenal’s best servants since Mikel Arteta became their manager, and the manager would continue to work with him if he stays. Christos Tzolis is the only other left winger in their squad now, so if Arsenal sell Martinelli, they will have to replace him.
Galatasaray Step Up Martinelli Pursuit
Martinelli would love to remain at Arsenal because he believes he can achieve more at the club. However, Galatasaray are serious about signing him, and Sport Witness says they have even authorised the agent who helped them sign Victor Osimhen to lead the talks as an intermediary.
The success of George Gardi in their pursuit of Osimhen has given Galatasaray confidence in him, and he has now been tasked with trying to reach an agreement with Arsenal for Martinelli. His involvement could help the Turkish club continue negotiations despite their opening offer appearing insufficient.
Arsenal Face Decision Over Martinelli
Arsenal will have to consider whether the right offer arrives before deciding to part ways with Martinelli. The club are keen to move quickly if they sell him because they would then need to find a replacement, while Arteta would also have to adjust his attacking options.
Galatasaray, meanwhile, have no plans to give up on the deal and will continue trying to convince Arsenal and Martinelli. The Brazilian’s preference is to remain in London, but the Turkish club are determined to make the transfer happen.
In the next few days, it could become clearer whether Galatasaray can convince Martinelli to move to the Turkish league at this stage of his career. The outcome will depend on whether they can improve their proposal and persuade the attacker that the move is right for him.

Martinelli has said, he does not want to go to Galatasaray. Can not blame him. We also want 50 mil, which is a stumbling block to others. We are still trying to bring in a left winger, and I think, if we do, Arsenal would drop his price a little. I was told Yildiz but (and it doesn’t mean we are not) it has gone a bit quiet on that. His club do not want to sell but a big offer, could change that.
Unless Martinelli changes his mind this one won’t happen – but there are other clubs interested – so who knows.
If a deal can’t be done, he’s still a good player – and young – keep him on board.

For a swap deal to happen both players need to be up for it. Something Martinelli isn’t up for it would seem.
If £50,000,000 is seen as a stumbling block, then other clubs need to realize the potential of the player!
I can’t believe the club are even thinking about selling him to be honest, but if they are then said £50 million should be the minimum starting point.

Arsenal clearly don’t want to pay him approx 18 million for the next 2 years so are taking that into consideration
don’t forget he scored one Prem goal last season so that will also impact his value
Its a difficult one.On the one hand you have arguably the most industrious winger in the League, but someone who has not fulfilled the potential he displayed 3/4 years ago in terms of assists and converting chances.Until we have lined up a direct upgrade I do not see much point in selling him , unless Arteta is contemplating using the frustrating Exe on the left wing?
The low block cancelled Martinelli
Martinelli should be sold ASAP and get an elite winger, else we gonna struggle with creativity like last season.
Can’t believe some mumu fans still want martinelli to stay, same fans that were saying zubi is as good or better than partey. Thank God reason has prevailed, the club brought guimares and their is skelly who is also good to go

Zubimendi is a totally different player to Partey. Zubimendi plays more like Mikel did when he played for PSG and us.
