        1. The deal for Sokratis was being held up because Sokratis had a small issue with his passport but the deal is done.

        2. Wilshere’s talks with Emery were positive and now possible he will sign on.
He officially becomes a free agent by 30th June.

          1. Wow, that is a very drastic U-Turn, from “100% happening today” to “likely to happen tomorrow”.

I guess you should be either having spy devices installed at the emirates’ offices or you should be the twitter handle of Arsenal.
only then could you announce things like they are happening in your backyard.

So what is it? Spy devices or Twitter Handle?

            1. He just follows ITK’s on Twitter, so he is repeating other peoples bollox.
Get up early, read the papers, pretend you know stuff before everyone else. Anyone can do it!

            2. @kev you should rather be little reserved to sustain your credibility regarding arsenal news.

If you keep posting shit like “Sokratis deal was delayed because of passport problem at the airport” you wont be able to convince many.

What are you? A 12 year old kid? trying to impress all your friends?

If there is some one who does really knows some info about Arsenal news he/she would just give the news and doesn’t give a rats a** about who is believing it and whos not. But you are so desperate to make us believe that you even mention personal lifves of our targets like what happened with Sokratis passport and how many times he had sex with his wife etc…

But I must give it you in this off season you entertain us with such petty news that you give us. But please stop it when the season starts.

    1. SLIGHTLY OFF TOPIC… Admin did you take the photo of Ken with your Bergkamp shirt donating it to a kid in hospital..? Woukd be Great to see that on a separate post.. thanks

      1. We are having problems on that front. Great Ormond Street have said they don’t allow bedside presentations and are not answering my emails.
I think we may have to choose another hospital and find another young Arsenal fan to give it to…

Does anyone have any good ideas?

        1. Admin,
Just clicked on this as I have no interest in an English shirt!
What about Great Ormond Street, a fantastic hospital dealing with all kinds of eye problems for the old and young?

  1. My fav England kit is kinda for a silly reason, I like the 96 home kit.

“Everyone seems to know the score,
    They’ve seen it all before
    They just know
    They’re so sure

That England’s gonna throw it away
    Gonna blow it away
But I know they can play
    Cause I remember…”

So much hope, so much anticipation… then we threw it away and blew it away XD
That year will remain with me in my memories and every time England gets overlooked for hosting a tourny I recall that year and how good it was to be living here, kinda like a party across the whole country lol.

That shirt is my fav England one because it was a fun tourny.

    1. Nigeria kit is lovely, not the away one that’s getting all the attention, the home one is smashing. Sleek, not much advertising, I really like it. The away one is nice and a bit flashy but I think it’ll look better on Africans as opposed to Caucasian.

      1. Nigeria home kit kinda reminds me of an old Arsenal kit, it was yellow and blue instead of green like Nigerias is.

Can’t wait for Adidas to do our kits again, AFC latest kit looks like one of the worst I have ever seen, I am seriously struggling to think of a worse kit…

Shame Nike didn’t get our kit deal as they could have just turned the Nigerias into a red and white colouring and kit done XD

  2. I like the England away 2010-2011 as I love the simplicity of the white trim on the sleeves everything
Puma lack when designing our kit. It was not a fond memory of the South African world cup.

  3. When are you giving out the 2018 Nigerian jersey? I couldn’t get one at the store.

  4. Premier league 2018/2019 table is out we are top of the table though Alphabetically, Social media making fun of it,the only time arsenal can top the league lol

    1. Even that spot couldnt be guaranteed if we had the now ex manager for 10 more years..
As teams like Acrington Stanley will get promoted to PL as every club does progress over years and occupy first spot even before a game is played in PL

      1. Yet Wenger has still won more than you ever could.

Some people are so pathetic, overvalued when called worthless, so dim witted that they have to cling onto the past because it took them a years to catch up with stuff. People like that try to keep things in fashion well after the sell by date… Like Wenger bashing is outdated, he has gone already.

        Get behind Emery.
Support Arsenal and look to our future, our bright future may I add!

    1. When I was a kid I used to spell Adidas as Addidas… Until Korn released A.D.I.D.A.S, randomness 😛 lol

  5. England will make it past the group stage. We should finish 1st or 2nd. We will most probably fail at the following round unless we get lucky and draw a team we can beat.

  6. Arsenal have opened negotiations with Sampdoria over midfielder Lucas Torreira, according to reports in Italy.so this deal may likely happen soon

    1. Hold up over agent fees I read. However, I’ll believe when I see on official Arsenal website.

£25 million for 22 year old with his talent is absolute steal in market today. Surprised his club didn’t resign him and drastically increase buyout clause.

Get it done please; legal daylight robbery hopefully in full on progress.

Forget Jack or Ramsey, this guy is what we’ve needed. Hopefully Torreria for Jack, and then Tanguay Ndombele ( my bad spelling) to replace Ramsey; younger, better, faster, smarter, etc…

DM will really help defense, especially the dumb errors when CB’s put under pressure.

      1. But I seem to have read somewhere that Jack
is Mr. Arsenal and Ramsey is the best B2B midfielder in the EPL. It would be the end of
AFC as we know it if they weren’t both signed to lifetime contracts for Ozil type $$. SMH & LMFAO!

Torreria and Ndombele would immediately and dramatically change the midfield dynamic at AFC.
There mix of tenacity, skill, and athleticism would
provide a successful balance to the midfield,
offering both service and space to the attacking players as well as necessary cover for the back
        4. Something the midfield hasn’t provided in
        far, far to long.

Grab ur sack Emery and make it happen.

  7. @kev hey …as it stands your “100 % happening on thursday” which changed to “might happen on friday” has now become might not be annouced at all in June.
May be it will become official in July as it stands.

So you all heard it first from me.
Now I expect to be rated higher than kev when it comes to transfer rumours.

  8. I’d be perfectly happy with this Arsenal squad.
Let me know if I’m being realistic or playing Football Manager

    STARTING
    ———Leno——–
    Bellerin—Sokratis—Soyuncu—Kolasinac
    Ramsey—Torreira—Xhaka
    Mkhitaryan—Aubamyang—Özil

    SUBS
    ———Cech——–
    Lichsteiner—Chambers—Mavropanos/Holding—Monreal
    Maitland-Niles—Elneny—Wilshere
    Iwobi/Adli—Lacazette—Nelson/Nketiah

    SELL
    Ospina
    Mustafi
    Welbeck
    Perez
    Campbell
    Asano
    Jenkinson

    1. It’s realistic enough, given that the journo’s have been on song so far. Whether Soyuncu and Torriera come or not, I’d like a big signing, was expecting a couple but if Wilshere stays we might be lucky to get even one big signing. Torriera could become big, same with Soyuncu who I have my doubts about. Still, with the gap in class last season, I don’t think that team above could make waves. Well at least in Aubameyang we have a game changer, and even have back up if necessary.

    2. For me, Auba is a wide forward, I do believe he has shown his best as a wide forward. Oh he banged in goals as a CF but he was baninging in goals from a wide area, not as many but considering the fewer times he would be in a chance to score… I would say he was equally deadly on the right.

He has shown that he can bang goals in from the left for us while Laca has been upfront…

Laca has more about him to drop deep with the ball, to drag players better, to bring others in better… a CF who will be happy to feed wide forwards who run past him, that is a CF who will aid the wide forwards in being secondary CFs.

Basically, Lacazette can and should look to become a mobile and consistent Giroud.

  9. You’re still in the Arsene Wenger phase, listen we’re not the same team. You need to relax buddy

  10. The trouble with being an old git, as I am, is that I care nothing for fashion when I HAVE TO WEAR IT, which is as rarely as I can make it. It was bad enough having to wear a tie in my working career, much of the time. Fashion is great for young people, so go for it guys and girls, if you wish. Mostly, unless you are grossly fat or bald, middle aged and trying to “get down with the kids” , you generally look great in it. As far as Arsenal is concerned I always want us to wear red with white sleeves EVERY TIME WE CAN. I abhor change strips but am content with yellow shirts and blue shorts, but only when we have to, as they have been the most old traditional. But A SOBERING THOUGHT TO CONSIDER is that all fashion, non football and football is really a con job pulled upon gullible people by the fashion industry and rapacious marketing companies(which includes all top football clubs and even lower ones too) including talented designers , in order to make huge money from you. If you accept that reality with your eyes open then it is your own free choice. Personally, though, I have never fallen for the fashion con which enslaves the more prosperous part of our globe. Remember though, that when you pay for a club strip , almost all of the cost ends up either with the makers, or in greedy players huge pockets, indirectly. This leads , should anyone be interested , to a far wider debate on many areas of lives, but I will not bore you further, as I do realise we are here to talk about Arsenal and football .

    1. Lol, I don’t think is your age Jon, I like to wear stuff more for comfort than fashion and I’m just a pup compared to some 🙂

Plus as you already said, paying over the odds just cause it is ‘fashion’ is more of a con job or as I think of it, manipulation attempt to attract a partner with looks over personality.

I would be happy to chat about society and perceived issues about what is ‘wrong’, I always chat to people about this stuff as it broadens my horizon and challenges my own way of thinking, might be geeky but it is fun for me 😛

Anyway, I think we should both avoid the new AFC kit if we are in any way concerned about the fashion 😉 It is uglier than me in the mornings!!!!!

      1. I don’t know your age or even your generation but I am fast approching seventy(68, actually) and have avoided wearing any Arsenal kit ever. When I was young they were not around and we wore woollen scarves – even silk scarves had not then come in. I had a rattle painted red/ white, a woollen bobble hat, a rosette worn mainly for Cup games. I do not mind at all young folks wearing kit but have zero interest personally. I still would be the same were I young today as I have had a lifelong dislike of how fashion has taken over so many peoples lives and become a mania , diverting their energies from much more important and real things. Fashion is only packaging anyway, the same as skin colour, height, weight, nationality, religion, or lack of one, and much else besides. The real person is deep inside us all and not visible to people at all until they get to really know us well. My parents ran a fashion company , so that is probably one reason I have always fought against an addiction to fashion. But each to their own. It is not for me, never has been and never will be. I too always enjoy chats about wider life issues but others would be bored if if happened on this forum. Let me know(on here) though, if you do want further conversation as, on the right forum, it is lifeblood to me. There is far more to any well lived life than merely football, as passionate as we all are about it.
