Has Aubameyang just resigned from international football?

Mesut Ozil made a very long statement in pre-season about his disillusionment of his treatment by the German Football Federation and effectively resigned from playing for the national team ever again, now it seems that the Arsenal striker has also released a vehement message to the Gabon FA (FEGAFOOT) admitting that he had no wish to play for them, after they (prematurely) announced that Aubameyang’s father, Pierre Aubame, as the new coach of the national side.

“You were wondering why I have problems with you, why I don’t want to come and play for the national team,” Aubameyang announced publicly.

“You have told the whole world about my father, the so-called coach of the national team, when you did not even get his agreement!

“The president of the federation called my dad but did not even care to ask about his state of health. He’s sick at the moment,”

“To rush out and hold a press conference (on Wednesday) when my father said he would give his answer only the next day is another demonstration of why.

“His decision, by the way, is negative. You didn’t even give him a chance to negotiate about his staff members or other things.”

“The day the federation no longer shows amateurism is the day the national team is able to move forward and find consistent results.”

The Arsenal hitman is the current captain, like his father before him, and is probably the best ever played to come out of the Central African country, but that statement sounds like a clear resignation letter to me!

    I’m selfish.
I would be happy if he didn’t play International football. Less chance of injury and to concentrate on Arsenal

Phil just a question, from the thread about ozil you and Sue agreed you can’t understand other people’s comments on ozil.

So my question to you both is what has ozil done last season and this to a) make him worth the money he gets and b) make me want him in the team ?

          1. Sue says:

Oh John ? I could go on until I was blue in the face…. and you’d still feel the same, as would I! Just have to agree to disagree hey?! I wonder if he’ll score for the 3rd game on the spin today?!

I need an iTunes card or amazon not Arsenal promotional card. Who that one help??

Today is the day, I can feel it. Our clean sheet is here

      1. Phil says:

Give the £10 voucher to Emery. He could replace Bellerin and Mustafi with that money

        1. jon fox says:

What should he do with the £9. 90 change! A team that regularly feaures both those complete duds is battling with an extreme handicap. Can’t remotely understand why either is within a milion miles of Arsenal FC. George Graham would be having a heart attack if HE had to work with those duds. How the mighty are fallen!

  3. IamPoPular says:

@ arseray i dont need an arsenal promotional card,i need an itunes card of 100 dollars… As an arsenal fan u can do that for me

  4. jon fox says:

Personally, I would be quite ok if ALL international football, including all tournaments was never played ever again. Most of it is boring and just harms our domestic football. Get rid! I chose to completely shun watching the entire world cup as it was a corruptly awarded tournament given to a corrupt country. And I did not miss it in the slightest, despite being constantly bombarded with score updates by friends(so called) and certain family members whom I have yet to forgive.
