Here’s my predicted Arsenal team to face Sevilla tonight – What’s yours?

My predicted line up vs Sevilla

Arsenal set off to face Sevilla in Spain on Tuesday night, what’s set to be a massive game for both clubs and fans, Tuesday night’s game should be electric. With 3 needed points on the line, both sides will be giving all they’ve got, but hopefully our Arsenal men will stay strong and come home winners. Here’s my predicted line up, what’s yours?

David Raya has started the last 7 matches out of 8, only missing out on the Brentford game to the fact he’s loaned out by them and wasn’t available for selection. Also starting in our first two Champions League games, I don’t really see Arteta changing it up, although I’d personally prefer to Ramsdale get a start and some minutes.

In defence I think Arteta sticks with what has been working so well, if it’s not broke why fix it? Zinchenko, Gabriel, Saliba and White have been incredible so far this season and the consistency of playing together seems to help a lot. Saliba and Gabriel have been outstanding this season and have really created an unbreakable partnership, reading each other like it’s second nature and when playing together have be like a brick wall to get past.

In the midfield I’d go with a three of Rice, Partey and Odegaard. Rice has been the rock of the Arsenal side since arriving for West Ham in the summer, constantly winning the ball back and creating space for his attackers. Always calm and composed on the ball and gives our midfield incredible structure. Partey, I think needs be to starting over Havertz for this game, we need to lock down their midfield and having a more defensive mind alongside Rice will probably work in our favour. Odgaard’s performances have some what dropped off over the past couple weeks, but he is our main source of creation.

In attack I’d stick with Martinelli, Jesus and Saka. Both Saka and Martinelli bring so much pace to the wings and are able to spread play wide, opening up teammates for attacks, not only that, they both have the ability to score goals and with Sevilla’s strong defence were going to need to be attacking on all fronts. Jesus in the middle as the target man for both wingers and to help hold up play when needed.

A huge game for both teams and a must-win for both sides too, so I’d expect a lot of passion and hard work.

What’s your thoughts Gooners?
