Why are Arsenal playing games with Newcastle if they decide to bid on Bruno I wouldn’t delay to long as they won’t sell if they don’t get a replacement pay the price for him or he will end up at Chelsea or Liverpool mark my words

We’ve been tracking him since he was in Brazil, it’s not new interest.
And as I recall, THEY annoyed US by swooping in quickly and buying him from Lyon when Arteta was openly interested in him back in 2022… so all’s fair in love and football.

Pretty sure Arsenal were unsure and just had interest.. Did you bid for him or dilly dallied and. Newcastle swooped and negotiated with Lyon. So far, the team with the registration is Newcastle. He is a Newcastle player. Club hasn’t received a bid. Player has 2 years with club option for a 3rd left. Newcastles best player and captain. He isn’t going less than £90m this summer. He isn’t going to do a Isak and not play. He has said that already. Time to put up..
I understand Newcastle’s position.
They’re saying: Talk to us directly so we will sort this out and know if we should go for a replacement or if we’re sticking with what we have instead of keeping us guessing while the transfer window winds down gradually. They don’t want to be forced to sell at a time when they would be in a weak position to look for and negotiate favourably especially towards the end of the window.
Yes, many of us know Newcastle’s position. It’s called being greedy.

How are we talking to a player who is under contract. It’s clear tapping up 🤣 He wasn’t tapped up by Newcastle when bought from Lyon they were just quicker on the trigger.
It’s basic tapping up…. using a workaround that “intermediaries” are doing the tapping up rather than the club. Football has definitely took a turn for the worse ever since Murdoch got his grubby hands on it in the early 90’s.
