There is disappointing stories being posted online claiming that Alexis Sanchez has hinted at an Arsenal stay this summer, but they are shockingly weak.
The Chilean forward is simply claimed to have liked a video on Twitter posted by an Arsenal fan, of himself singing a cringey song calling for him to stay at the club.
This is of course a parody of East 17’s soppy classic song ‘Stay Another Day’, but the original is not done any justice by the above, as I’m sure you will agree.
This song does not make me feel proud of my fellow Gunner, and I’m of the opinion that it is time for Alexis Sanchez to leave the club, and for us to reinvest the money in a top-level replacement.
Thomas Lemar is touted as a possible replacement, but I’m not convinced he is ready to fill such big boots.
Would Lemar be a decent replacement? Is Sanchez already gone in his mind?
