Good news
Good news, but let’s not forget that not so long ago fans on this site were getting their knickers in a twist over unsupported and unattributed reports about Nwaneri’s supposed contract “demands”. Yet here we are with him signing a new, long term, contract.
And who says that those “demands” weren’t met before he signed?
Signing a contract doesn’t mean there were no prior demands. We never know anyway cos none of us was there. But that doesn’t necessarily mean it was all a lie. I’m glad he’s signed
Because the “demands” (as reported anyway) were around a guarantee of playing time – something which no club would ever agree to, certainly not for a player of Nwaneri’s age and relative inexperience.
Agree with both Bertie and dgr8xt. Subsequent actions, slips of the tongue, etc. may end up pointing to what actually occurred but I doubt in this case that the future will be affected by anything now in the past.
