Injury problem solved! Arsenal have SUPER Ramsey back!

In the grand scheme of things, one of the most important things that happened to Arsenal Football Club this season may well turn out to be the medical staff at the club getting to the bottom of the reason why Aaron Ramsey kept picking up little muscle injuries that recurred and kept him out of the Arsenal team for a lot longer than they should have.

A throwaway line from Arsene Wenger a few weeks ago suggested that the club now knew why and that the problem had been fixed. If that is true it is absolutely fantastic news. Not just because we will have the Wales international available throughout the season, but also for the extra freedom it allows the midfielder to play with.

Rambo has come back into the Gunners team with a bang and he carried that excellent form onto the international stage yesterday, with a brilliant performance, capped by a great headed goal, that was only denied a Man of the Match award by a top game from Gareth Bale.

It occurs to me that Ramsey needs to be able to play without any caution to really show his talent, but when he does he can be one of the best central midfielders in the world. He is now reminding Arsenal fans and the football world in general why he was our Player of the Year last season and was being talked about as a candidate for the Premier League award before his injury.

That injury cost us the title in my opinion. DonĀ“t forget that he made the difference in the FA cup final victory and consider that we did not have him in the middle when we put on that poor show against Monaco at home or when we lost to the spuds.

If Arsenal are going to win the title next season and go further in the Champions League, we need Ramsey at his best because Arsenal are just not the same without him. Is he the most important player for Arsenal?

  1. Not the most important this season. Alexis is the main factor. with his runs, at least 2 opposing defenders are kept from joining in attacking us

  2. he polarizes opinion .

    i personally love him.
i played missing u by p.diddy when he got injured

  3. If Ramsey finally gets over his injuries he could be a very good player. But we also say that about Wilshere, Gibbs and even Diaby. Just hope Ramsey actually does get over his injuries, he was brilliant for us last season… Before he was injured…

  4. rambo links defence and attack and was one of the only players (now there are alexis, ox, rosa and welbz) who penetrated the penalty box, especially this wasn’t happening enough from our midfield. that s why he plays soo well with giroud, who gives him lay-offs in the box. now we have other means, but he is still hugely important.

    1. anyway, what do you guys think: is it to early to think that shad is and the newish med team is helping? we’re getting players back early and less injuries, and getting to the root of problems (ramsey’s injury).
getting debuchy back soon and hopefully wilsh and the captain: things are going wel at a good time.

one or two signings more and we’re good for next season, plus players staying fit like they do at chelsea etc. i can feel we can make it happen next season: look how chelsea struggle when someone is out, we pull through with a whole eleven out at times -.-

debuchy and hopefully the captain together with

    1. I agree about Ramsey he was the only player to make runs into the penalty box. But that’s why I gotta give credit to wenger for getting players like Sanchez and welbeck who can penetrate. Also gotta give massive credit to giroud for improving his movement in an around the box

I’m still skepticle about claiming we’ve figured out the root of our injury problems cause our players are still dropping like flies. BUT the new medical team has been a massive upgrade and had a huge impact on rehabbing players and not only getting them back accordingly, but ahead of schedule so they’ve definitely had a positive contribution.

  5. we need to axe 4 minimum to hit the homegrown quota and to sign a few more we have to sell additional players on top of the 4

    1. there will be an increment from 9….but still not sure the exact quota…

an increment is definitely good for the club

  6. I don’t really know which team would be our ‘best 11’. It’s all to do with form really. Everyone has their ups and downs.

  7. Will love to see our “rambo” get “first blood” against liverpool on saturday at the emirates! Coyg!

  8. Just saw Giroud’s goal today. Where the hell he’s got so much pace? What has he been eating?

Strong, good shooting and heading technique and now more pace? He’s improving his ‘weak areas’ and it’s showing!

  9. When he’s fit and in form
    Ramsey is a fine player.
    But Ramsey is inconsistent
and injured a lot in his career.
We can say the same about
    another 20 Arsenal players
    injury prone and inconsistent.
So Ramseys back … for now.

  10. Ramsey is top drawer – in my mind absolutely no question. We haven’t seen the best of him yet and from what I have seen in the past 2 months he’s starting to hit his straps. That assist for Bale in their Wales game was something else.

(OT – did you see that bit of magic by Sanchez vs Brazil…5 players left in his wake!)

He’s playing smarter and making quicker/better decisions on the ball. Physically he looks stronger and trusts his body in challenges. His stamina is still beyond belief. His defensive work is improving.

He is special player. Agreed – he has to deliver more consistently and then he will be hailed World Class.

Do you really think wanyama is better than schneiderlin? And why do you say wanyama is the anchor man when it’s schneiderlin?
