Jack Wilshere spills the beans on Arsenal’s targets!

I bet if you asked any Arsenal fan what they thought that Arsene Wenger’s targets are from the beginning of the season, most of us would have a pretty clear idea, but it came as a big surprise to me that Jack Wilshere gave his list as clear as day on Arsenal.com.

Our Jack was giving his opinion on Wenger’s latest discovery, Alex Iwobi, and Wilshere is very impressed with the newcomer. Jack said: “I really like him as a player,”

“I watched him in the FA Youth Cup last year and you could always tell there was something special about him.

“He used to train with us quite a lot. He was young, so he never really got a look in when he came over, but you could tell he had something special and he has really matured.

“If you ask anyone, it looks like he has been in the team for a number of years. He is confident, technically he is great, he fits in and physically he doesn’t look like a 20-year-old.”

Then Jack tries to make sure that we all know that Iwobi’s emergence is all down to the hard work of Le Prof, which is fair enough, but then he lists Arsenal’s targets.

“I think the boss has done really well with him because he brought him in, brought him out and then put him into the team.” Jack continued.

“You have to give credit to the boss as well because, at a club like Arsenal, you are looking to win things, finish top four, get Champions League, win competitions, and to play a 19-year-old and keep your faith in him week in, week out… [Iwobi] has repaid him well.”

So we all knew about finishing in the Top Four, and the occasional Cup competition, but I didn’t realise another target was to break at least one youngster into the first team?

  1. More useless hot air from Arsenal players. We want results on the pitch please then you can talk.

    1. @NYG Are you serious?
Quote ” because, at a club like Arsenal, you are looking to win things, finish top four, get Champions League, win competitions, and to play a 19-year-old and keep your faith in him week in, week out”

      ?????

        1. Ah ok mate I understand. I should have thought that could be misscontrued. Maybe I should have used “ambitions” instead?

            1. Hahaha
I must admit. .. I also thought that it was regarding transfers targets, but I should have known better… Because Jack knows Jack ?.

          1. Lol..don’t pretend that wasn’t your intention admin..

ADMIN COMMENT – Don’t pretend that you know how I think. I bet you can’t find one out of every hundred posts on here that can be defined as clickbait. This was an honest title (and read the story it’s obvious) and I did not think it was ambiguous when I wrote it. Do you want to call me a liar?

      1. I disagree, article is about the ambitions of the club. It is a top four finish, not to win PL.

        1. Admin just a few days ago you were going on about how peoples comments has nothing to do with the articles. So I ask how is your reply to some Gooners anything to do with the Article. So please stop replying rubbish.

On topic…. targets was and is always used for transfers. I bet 100% of people that clicked on this topic thought it was about transfers. Ambitions was the perfect word to use.

Now to the Article: Please Jack your ambitions are poor. Our one ambition is to WIN every competition we take part in FULL STOP. We are suppose to be a big club so lets have proper big ambitions.

          Will always Love Arsenal

          1. One… Butt out. This is my site and you don’t tell me what I can or can’t do.

Two. .. Use of Targets in title was not done on purpose and I apologised before anyone else stuck their nose in.

Three. .. Jack our TARGETS are to win every competition we are in.

  2. how much are u paid on wengers decision to be a jack wheelchair again?

no wonder u big wenger up. i would call sepp blatter my father for the money u get paid to have play doh ankles.

come on city an away goal.
    fly the flag u suckers

    1. Hahaha…….. And then they crumble like pizza….. R.mad too hot to handle

mtcheww….could as well just call the UCL finals a La Liga (el classico)

  3. 1. We all knew that the aim when paying off stadium debt was top 4 finish.
    2. I had assumed that now stadium debt is substantially paid off and we do not have to sell our best players that the aim would be to win the PL
    3. Kroenke tells us he is not “involved” to win championships
    4. Now Jack tells us that aim is top 4 in PL

Jack has let the cat out of the bag.

As I see it, we were promised jam tomorrow, when stadium debt is paid off all will be well, but put up with high ticket prices and top four finish for now.

Then along comes Kroenke and thinks, all these years Arsenal fans have been happy with top four and have been paying off stadium debt. Now they will continue to be happy with top four and instead of paying off stadium debt can pay me.

    1. I meant to also say, based on reacton to protest at norwich match, arsenal fans are happy with top four finish so Kroenke has got it correct.

  4. Jack also said ” I love drink me and a fag. ain’t eastenders good these days, I love it. You going to Charlie chans to get rat arsed, cause I am. Wicked I’ll see you there”

So he spoke of his desire to play for West ham and cultural experiences in exotic locations with like minded peers.

    Pfff
    Non-article

    1. I do not think it is a non article. Jack said sim of the club is top four in pl, not to win it. This was the aim when paying off stadium debt and is still the aim.

Complete difference between club and fans expectations. Kroenke has decided that top 4 gives him maximum return on investment.

      1. The fact that Arsenal has no ambition and Jack has bought into this idea is also not news for me.

  5. @ArseOverTit
    “Jack and his ‘beanstalk’!”
    lol
Jack and his “Has been” talk 🙂
Stan and the bean counters 🙂
    Walcott the140k p/w runnerbean 🙂
Wenger may the 4thbean with you.
Giroud the wanna – bean 🙂

  6. if kdb doesnt turn up city look trash
raheem sterling looking as useless as ever hes gonna rival the torres transfer for flops if hes not careful

    underwhelming exit to promising campaign

now its….mourinho 2.0 vs money under the table in the final

    who will win?

    who cares pal

    1. @muffdiver
MY money’s on”money under the table”…Mo 2.0 has already hyped his pitbulls up to go out and maul Real. So, they’ll more than likely end up with 6 men on the pitch come the halftime whistle…

  7. city days are over we need to assemble a good team that can pass the ball and move fast we need to be very clinical with passe
city were to slow against madrid in fact they were awful

    1. City days just started and are already over? Lol where would the be without the sheik…

      1. City’s days are over?
        They fought till the 95th
        minute of the Champions
        League semi final.
        If City’s days are over
Arsenal must be extinct long ago.

  8. They need to try to secure a UCL place now against us and will be passed they didn’t make more of a fist of it!

It will be a tough game and probably a humdinger!

    1. You see that’s just it, now they’re going to want to go all guns blazing on their final home game this season to make up for getting kicked out of the CL while trying to secure a slot for next season as well. Thing is though if we send the right team out we can own them on the counter. They’re going to attack and be wide open for the kill. This could either be a great game or a really bad one for us.

      1. Hahaha. .. The really bad one… looks more like a realistic senario! … purely because of our lack of goals.

        1. Sad but true, though as the final so called big team we will face this season I really don’t want to end that with a loss. Restore whatever pride we have left because that team I saw today in Madrid is very much so beatable.

  9. @ Admin
I’m surprised that you haven’t done an article regarding Gazidis’s coments… on how he feels the fan’s disappointment’s and that he will review the situation on what went wrong, at the end of this season.

And he also added that Wenger has had £250 million to spend on transfers for the past 4 season’s! ?

    1. just read it

im not blaming kroenke anymore, how can i??
he hasnt restricted wenger, ivan just said it ffs

      wenger has restricted wenger
there is no one to blame but him

      1. But what if Wenger says Leciester’s team cost approximately £25M. Lol

Seriously though I keep reading that we’re going in for Kante and Mahrez. That would be a good start

    2. with paraphrases “dein” “kroenke” “wob” “stadium-debt” “UCL” “graham”

Hardly ever any post of his without these paraphrased excuses above!

      #InDefenceOfDelusion#

        1. SOA when the truth is known, the coward … stays away

Admin, I was reading some of his pathetic comments where he calls posters idiots and losers with no provocation so why isnt he banned?

HAFIZ IN… i would love to read his comments now

        2. May I ask why you have stopped this thread to talk about someone who isn’t even online? Do you have some beef with him as he certainly hasn’t said anything today.

  10. Is it transfer season yet? Because I keep seeing these names pop up in various articles:

    Xhaka
    Mkhitaryan
    Lewandowski
    Kante
    Mahrez

  11. I wouldn’t even care if i were u…..

Whether we go all out and sign LuLu , Lala , tinky-winky or 3 more mascots

they’d all be playing for monsieur wonger
