Arsenal squad depth is paramount in the scheme of things, it is always the availability of top players as opposed to scoring goals that derail us time and time again.
It is for that reason Arsenal got to sign another midfielder
I’m wondering that although we’ve finally got a striker. I find myself thinking should we get a back-up one, if for any reason Gyokeres misses some games.
I know that we can play Havertz there, and even Merino if pushed. But I still think that a proper back-up striker could be the way to go. Even if it’s a free agent.
And here goes, tell me if you think I’ve lost the plot, but would it be worth considering Jamie Vardy. I know he turned us down once, but with him being at the back end of his career now, he may be willing to be that back-up striker I’m talking about.
