Long-term Arsenal target offered for €20M fee

Inter Milan have reportedly offered Arsenal the chance to sign Marcelo Brozovic for €20 Million this summer supposedly.

The Croatian international has fallen out of favour at the San Siro in the last 12 months, with the current and previous managers having limited his playing time, and he is now on the transfer list.

Arsenal held talks over the possible capture of Brozovic prior to his move to Italy, and am sure that our club has been eyeing his progress at Inter since he joined in January 2015.

We are claimed to be leading the chase for his signature, and could well view him as the ideal long-term replacement for Santi Cazorla, who has suffered with injuries over the past two seasons, and has less than a year remaining on his current deal.

Brozovic impressed heavily at the European Championships in 2016 alongside Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric, and is no doubt a top talent.

His discipline is believed to have proved a problem for him in Italy, leading to him to be outcast, but Arsene Wenger may well be able to work with him.

We currently have Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey, Mohamed Elneny, Santi, Oxlade-Chamberlain and Granit Xhaka all vying for central roles in our squad, but Brozovic would most certainly offer a different style to the others, and could be a great signing.

The 24 year-old won back-to-back league titles with Dynamo Zagreb previously, playing a key role in each term, and could well relish the chance to return to a team worthy of challenging for honours, a feat Inter have lost touch with in recent years.

Could Brozovic be the man to bring that creative spark to our midfield? Do we need another midfielder? Will Arsene overlook him if he has disciplinary issues?
