One outlet announced his willingness to remain at R. Madrid which suggests he’s still embroiled in all that Galactico (larger than life, superstar) ideal.
I can’t remember a player transitioning from Real (Bernabeu Stadium) over to Liverpool? Likelihood is that premiership players opt to move the opposite way. Seems to be Arsenal has shown to be first choice for former Real M players wanting EPL football: Davor Suker, Dani Ceballos, Odegaard. There’s lots of connection historically (business) between Arsenal and RM.
The hard truth is when Real Players opt for the EPL the choice is to choose London – SEE YOU SOON Rodrigo Goes.
It appears Real Madrid want him out and if that’s the case then most players there in that position “decide” to go – voluntarily, or not so voluntarily, in the end.
I don’t know, nor does anyone else not connected closely with the player, where Rodrygo will end up if he arrives in the EPL. My guess is that he’ll go to a club where he stands the best chance of winning trophies on at least a fairly regular basis. If that breaks new ground over the choice of club, then I guess it will.
We shouldn’t forget that like most RM players, he’s used to winning silverware. In Rodrygo’s case, even at the young age of 24, he’s already picked up a staggering 13 trophies including 2 Champions League medals while at the Bernabeu. That could well narrow down the options around a move, but we’ll see.

By now Rodrigo knows that – having Vinicius J, Mbappe, and Endrick – any future contributions from him to furnishing more silverware to Real’s Trophy Hall will [*likely be] as a result of his non-involvement on the field or as a result of sitting on the sideline in reserve.
Who will be remembering him if he continues in the company of VJ, Mbappe, Endrick? I hope he shows ambition, opts for the gunners where – he would be immortalized simply by playing and following one EPL Arsenal title by a second follow up title (hopefully several more).

Yes, I think you’re right about there really being no place for him at RM.
He is certainly very talented, and I think he would make a good addition to the Arsenal squad. It’s really a question of whether he thinks Arsenal’s “potential” for trophies – with him in the team of course – is greater than, say, City’s or Liverpool’s proven ability to pick up silverware.
I don’t see Arsenal matching the reported (possible) bid of €100m though. I also think RM is more likely to take the money than consider a loan option given they’ve not sold anyone so far but have spent around €170m this summer.
No insult intended to Rodrygo but as an employee it’s just as likely a question of where he believes he’ll make the most money in the long term as opposed to any potential to be on a trophy winning team.
Possibly, but he’s earning over £200k a week at Madrid already so I doubt many EPL teams will go too much over that, given his age etc., as they’ll risk upsetting their wage structure.
Players from successful clubs – and they don’t get more successful than RM – are well paid anyway, all millionaires many times over as Rodrygo is, but trophies won is what sets them apart from contemporaries. It’s the same with “big” clubs themselves, of course.
Arsenal should not miss this opportunity to sign Rodrygo Goes, they should at least sign him on loan then maybe they would sign him on a permanent deal next summer. He is a fantastic player, many other fans would love to see Arsenal sign him before the deadline day.
