Official teams and Preview of Arsenal v Swansea

Well it seems that despite all the pre-match talk about Arsene Wenger making a few changes to his Arsenal line-up for tonight’s home game in the Premier League, it turns out that the Frenchman is to stick with the same starting XI. That makes it five games in a row with the same side, something that Arsenal fans have not seen is some considerable time.

I hope this means that Aaron Ramsey is completely recovered from the knock he picked up as the Gunners produced an excellent winning display away to Hul City last Monday night and I am sure that the boss would not take any unnecessary risks. Whether Wenger decides to stick with the same system and formation remains to be seen because he could easily change around the roles of Ramsey, Cazorla and Ozil.

The Arsenal bench is very strong as well, including the likes of Wilshere, Walcott and Gibbs al hoping to get on to the pitch so as long as the Gunners go into this game with the right attitude and barring any major disaster, Arsenal should be celebrating the extension of our great current run and getting closer to securing a top three finish and strengthening our chances of coming second.

Swansea are starting with no recognised striker, a la Barcelona, and there is a lot of pace in their team so we need to adapt to this quickly. Or perhaps just start well and bang in lots of goals. COYG

    Swansea matches are statistically always hard, there’s no real reason but mentality why it is so. They should be beaten as easily as West Brom, Newcastle etc.

    also very pleased that the club are heavily investing in the hale end academy they are halfway through the project, gazidis has said a little while back that it should be completed by feb next year(that’s all the 4 new pitches reconfigured and relayed with state of the art turf) i have seen the plans online it looks like it will be state of the art what a great place to rear up our young gunners in, and it means that we can attract the worlds top young talent there.
    glad to see jonker is overseeing an very important time in the academies future make it a world class British talent producing factory in the arsenal way pure technical class champions in the next 20 years and beyond. coyg

  31. Giroud looks bang out of form all of a sudden. Alexis is playing far too central, we offer no threat down the left wing so Swansea aren’t stretched. Can’t see us wing at this rate.

    2. No pace. Ramsey has made a couple but doesn’t really have the pace to get in behind. Alexis is too central and trying to dribble through. Need Welbeck or Walcott on.

      1. I’ve never labelled Giroud world class, I’ e only said that there’s no world class striker on the market that we could get right now so we may as well stick with Giroud. As for Demba Ba, never said anything about him, let alone calling him world class.
