Official teams and Preview of Dortmund v Arsenal

It looks like Arsene Wenger has decided to try to get over the Arsenal defensive crisis while also taking advantage of the one being suffered by Jurgen Klopp and his Borussia Dortmund side, because he has picked a pretty attacking line-up, with the big news being that young Hector Bellerin get his first senior start in place of the injured Mathieu Debuchy.

It is not only that that points to the Gunners going for it either, because Kieran Gibbs comes in on the left and Mikel Arteta gets the nod ahead of the more defensive minded Mathieu Flamini. Wenger has also kept both Ramsey and Wilshere in the team and the under fire German record signing Mesut Ozil starts as well.

Szczesny
Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs
Arteta, Ramsey, Wilshere
Ozil, Welbeck, Alexis

subs : Ospina, Chambers, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rosicky, Cazorla, Podolski, Campbell

There is plenty of attacking talent on the bench for the Gunners as well, so I think we are going to go for it and try to take advantage of Dortmund missing key players like Reus, Hummels, Sahin and Gundogay. The former Man United man Kagawa is on the bench for them, but they still have a strong side with the likes of Bender, Grosskreutz and Mikhitaryan so it should be an entertaining game. Let’s just hope we win it…
