It may be tempting to view Liverpool as the strongest team in England following their significant summer spending, but a closer inspection reveals that financial outlay alone does not guarantee success. While investing heavily in players is often associated with ambition, trophies are not won solely by the size of a club’s budget. One only needs to consider Real Madrid’s 2024/2025 campaign as an example of a high-cost squad falling short of expectations.
Liverpool have indeed made headlines with their aggressive recruitment, yet their squad remains a work in progress. In contrast, Arsenal have taken a more strategic approach, addressing key deficiencies within their team with precision and purpose.
Arsenal’s Smart Summer Strengthens Their Case
Manchester City have also made adjustments to their squad, but unlike City and other rivals, Arsenal’s core has not been dismantled. They may have lost Thomas Partey, but the arrivals of Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard more than compensate for that departure. Both midfielders bring balance, tactical intelligence and versatility to the centre of the pitch.
The most significant addition, however, is the signing of Viktor Gyökeres. For multiple seasons, Arsenal have lacked a consistent and recognisable striker, a gap that has often undermined their title challenges. The acquisition of Gyökeres marks a turning point, as they finally possess a forward capable of leading the line with authority and purpose.

Arsenal Ready to Challenge
As the new season approaches, Arsenal’s squad appears settled and cohesive. With major areas of weakness now addressed, there may be little need for further reinforcements. This continuity and stability provide Mikel Arteta’s side with a clear advantage.
Liverpool still have unresolved issues within their squad, while Manchester City’s involvement in the Club World Cup means they will have had a shorter pre-season, potentially affecting their early form. These factors contribute to what could be a crucial head start for the Gunners.
Arsenal’s preparation and strategic acquisitions have positioned them as the most complete and well-prepared side in the Premier League. While others are still refining their squads, Arsenal stand ready to mount a serious title challenge. Given the current landscape, it is fair to argue that they now possess the strongest team in the league.

Liverpool squad IS stronger and if they get Isak to go with Etikike they could go unbeaten.
We must upgrade on Marti and Tross
I am pleased we have Gyokeres but need Havertz to stay if he were to leave we would be back to square one I feel Zubimendi should be a good buy I do however think Arsenal should go all out to get Eze as he would be forceful either on the wing or from the number 10 role Due to one reason or another Odegaard Martinelli and Trossard were all inconsistent last season so Eze I think could be the vital missing link Far too early for Nwaneti to take on the role of main creator if Odegaard injured or out of form as for Max Dowman yes great prospect but we need someone to cone in straight away where I think Eze could Without Eze even if no one else leaves I fear Arsenal my team of over fifty years will still come up a bit short
Take Van Dijk and Salah out of that team and they are still good but not great. Both are in their 30s.A lot of teams have strengthened including us.Liverpool have but also lost Alexander Arnold and Diaz.
I agree with you AI m👌
Imo from our signings our week point still remains our LW. From the two friendlies against AC Millan and New Castle Arsenal still rely a lot on the RW side for goals.
Matinelli and Trossard weren’t effecient enough. Nelson did better when he came on but he could be sold and also injury prone.
Eze/Rodrigo could bring dynamism or use Madueke there.
I thought we had the strongest team coming into last season before injuries started taking their toll on the various would be contenders. I do not necessarily believe that will be the case this season as there have been so many significant improvements to other squads including LP among others.
I think we had the strongest squad last season and quite frankly I believe barring something bizarre…arsenal will be hard to resist this season
No out and out effiecient and effective centre forward has been a major weakness since the departure of Aubangyang. Now rectified (hopeully) with Gyokeres, with the potential o f 20+ goals. Injuries were a killer last season and lack of productivity up front and difficulty in breaking down low block teams resulted in too many draws (dropping 2 points at a time). If Arsenal can keep their players fit, the outlook for the season is very positive.
Liverpool have brought in 4 first team starters with Isak to come while Arsenal have replaced Partey and Jorginho with inferior versions for 70m, overpaid for a Chelsea reject and dropped another 70m on a striker from the Portuguese league. Other than that, you were close.
Stop making things up…..Liverpool apart from Wirtz the other are not starters……Zuba and Norgaard are not inferior to To Thomas and Jorginho and Gyokyres is better than Isak in the swidish national team
LFC Is better though…..
I think you are underplaying the Liverpool squad. Not sure what ‘unresolved issues’ you are talking about but they have a better midfield squad than ours and if they add Isak they are probably better up front. We remain better defensively. If we add Eze it will strengthen us but if I had to bet I would probably back Liverpool again but it will be closer this season.
Which is that stronger midfield of Liverpool? I don’t remember seeing it. Liverpool’s strength is in attack but if they come across a strong defensive team, they fall short. I will be the last to make Liverpool the new invincibles. Last year they were very lucky that most teams suffered mishaps. I recall our first round game with them at Emirates when all our first choice defenders suffered injuries! To make matters worse, even our last minute goal, which would have been a winner, was ruled out. That is what some people call the luck of champions. The fact that we became second despite all the odds against us makes me believe that we have a good chance next season.
Decent article but complete joke of a title.
I don’t understand how buying 2 Chelsea rejects this summer makes us the strongest team. I hate to use the word, but the ARROGANCE is really telling
Who are the Chelsea rejects? Surely can a 23 year old winger who is in the England squad be categorised as a reject? Perhaps the word reject has lost meaning! Madueke whom you refer to as a Chelsea reject even played some games for them in the club world cup. He only left because Arsenal had reached agreement with Chelsea for his purchase. If that is a reject, he is a good one. I highly doubt that Arsenal, which has been haggling over Gyokeres’ transfer fees, would buy a Chelsea reject for over 50 million £. Some of us either suffer from extravagant use of words or are simply too biased to see the reality. Chelsea was forced some players to balance the books before it could be in bad books of the football governors. It is good to get facts right so that we avoid making unsubstantiated statements.
Omission: Chelsea was forced to sell some players —–.
Pedro Neto
Joao Pedro
Jamie Gittens
Estêvão Willian
Out of those, 2 will start (likely the 2 Pedros) and the other 2 will be on the bench. You see why he was let go? He isn’t good enough for the bench at all. That’s a reject to me
The Claim is So Rediculous it embarrasses a lot of true Arsenal fans and followers of the game.
Whoever claims Arsenal has the strongest team in the league, before the first match kicks off is the same clown who’ll be hurling insults and abuse at players when, not if, the team slips up during the season.
I think the gunners have done great business this window and in my opinion it makes them the favourites for the Prem
Why do Liv fans always want to be the underdogs? Liverpool is the favorite
We still need an upgrade on Odegaard
No one is ready for this conversation though..
Liverpool were tremendous last season, let’s be honest so many of us would pick Szoboslai over Odegaard.. upon this Liverpool still went and got and upgrade on Szoboslai…
Arsenal should be doing the same thing..
I don’t know if Eze is our midfield answer cos he seems to play most of his football on the left or there about.
Utter crap from start to finish. Compare 2 fit players not one fit one injured..no comparison when fully fit Odegaarde on a different level
If we don’t improve the left side of our attack I don’t think we do. And all of this is “on paper”. We don’t know who will succeed and who won’t. That goes for other teams new signings as well.
Listen, new season new start we had no frontline for god knows how long last season, our problem has always been the teams strength in depth , we dont really have any game changers, more hopefuls than anything Gyokeres game changer , Eze a game changer ( if we do get him) he can do what odegard can do if he is not on it and play on the left so potentially better options but lets wait and see
Everyone to their own opinions of course.
I believe that, if we hadn’t had the catastrophic injury list last season, we would have been much closer to Liverpool.
We have lost a great player in Partey and very impressive squad players in Jorginho and Tierney.
That’s what makes this window such an impressive one for me, as we have brought in six new signings, not only to replace those three, but to also address the areas we were most vulnerable in, goalkeeper and striker.
Add to that, the persistent rumour regarding Eze and I can understand the thinking behind the article.
If Eze arrives and we can stay clear of the amount of injuries we had last season, my question would be, where, if any, are the weaknesses in the squad?
The only one I can point to, is if Gyokeres gets injured – he is the only recognised top striker we have.
And if we not been targeted by the PGMOL in key games-7 points they cost us. If you don’t think PGMOL blatantly favour North west teams or rather target Southern teams you are not paying attention.
You are 100 percent right.
PGMOL are one of the biggest reason Arsenal dropped points in some EPL matches
I think this is a fair assessment. We don’t really have any major weaknesses this season. I’ll argue all day with people about the left wing, and I would like to see a proven upgrade there. But Martinelli and Trossard are good players, and with a striker to send low crosses into, the onus on Nelli to push inside is reduced. I’m not too worried about Gyokeres not having a one-for-one replacement. Havertz and (from January) Jesus can rotate as needed, and there’s always Merino on the bench 🙂
The squad is more balanced and there are no major weaknesses. This is all good. This doesn’t make Arsenal stronger than Liverpool (or the strongest in the league), though, which was the point of the article.
Correct. I was responding to Ken’s discussion points, not the article’s argument. We’re looking more solid than last season, but I agree with you that we’re definitely not stronger than Liverpool in terms of player ability. We’ll see how it all nets out over the course of the season, any number of spanners could be thrown into the works!
Agree completely, ken1945.
As an Arsenal fan for many years I disagree with the claim that we’ve got the strongest premier team, that’s LIVERPOOL, but the strongest team doesn’t always win so let’s see and not shoot ourselves in the foot before we start
My only complaint is on the vulgar language which some of us use. You can make your point without insulting others. Why should you call your colleagues clowns? If someone disagrees with your view that does not qualify him to be insulted. It is simply a difference of opinion which is healthy in a civilised society. We cannot all think and speak alike. Even identical twins are different. This is one area where I think we need to improve. If we remove insults from this platform, it will be superb.
Not sure which team really is the strongest for the upcoming season. I’m not sure if our incoming players will make us any better than the obvious top four/five as any self respecting ambitious club will be active or have been active in the market.
One difference is that Liverpool had to make changes, having virtually reproduced the same team last season as the one before that. Time waits for no man and players age, coupled with the tragic loss of Jota, which must be a blow to them on the pitch and at a personal level
It has always surprised me how much can change in such a short time. Just because they signed some top names doesn’t automatically mean that Liverpool will pick up where they left off. This of course can be applied to any of the challengers but as so often is mentioned, Slot did very well with the team that Klopp left behind. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out in the coming months with his new additions.
Last season showed that City were fallible and it really surprised me. Will Pep be able to erase it and will other teams not fear them as they had before?
Rodri was a huge loss for City115. Very similar level of importance in my opinion as to when Santi went out for us. Predictions are a fool’s errand but really fun sometimes.
Its a bit of a joke, saying we are the strongest team before the season has started or ended. I thought we were last season but we were not. Lest see if we are this and not make false statements that can NOT be backed up. Have we got the best coach? Thats the bigger question.
Again coach! A coach who found us out of Europe and not only returned us to Champions league but managed to reach semi-finals of the same competition and has been second in the league for three consecutive seasons, is that the coach you question? I am sure there is more than the quality of the coach here! If the coach creates injuries and makes referees give biased decisions, then he is to blame.
Arsenal had a huge spate of injuries so it was difficult to truly assess the strength of the first team. The squad had insufficient depth which is fairly clear. The question you seem to be asking is irrelevant and unnecessary at this point. Arsenal have a top level manager who has demonstrated that he can get a team to compete with the best in the world.
Saved me the time typing that Reggie .
Without having a winning manager getting us over the line ,having the best team does not matter .
I wouldn’t put Arteta in the top 3 managers in the league but we probably have a top 3 team .
I keep saying it DK, a top coach would have won the league at Arsenal this last 3 years. Some very bad errors of judgement have cost us. Not so much last season because we got left in the blocks, and injuries or not, we had too much too do, from a bad start. We would never have caught Liverpool, who unlike us were ready for the start of the season. The other two seasons, with the help of our manager, we blew it. I keep asking, How much has the investment got us to second? How much has the coach got us to second? I say the investment has been the biggest factor and many errors have been made by our coach, that has helped us fail in the league to finish it off. The constant excuses are embarrassing.
Well, there will be NO excuses this season🫣
Of course there will be
Can name them now
Yep there will be excuses till the day he leaves.
I think alot of fans have been drawn in because he talks a good game (and other factors ,mainly Wenger haters ).
On a second rebuild so no more pathetic excuses .
Top 5 spender in the world since joining us and one of the highest paid managers (joke)must do his own contracts .
DK, how many rebuilds did it take Fergie to win his first League title at Man Utd ?
So youre suggesting Arteta is the new fergie HD ?
No DK, just that as I’ve posted previously, both of them had a lot of clearing out to do when arriving at their clubs.
Serious question ,why not mention probably another 500 managers that have had to do the same over the last 30 years to compare Arteta with ,you mentioned Ferguson who is the most successful manager in this country .
Just curious why Fergie was the first name you came out with .
Because those two managers are the only two that I know of that had to get rid of players that weren’t good enough to challenge for the League Title and had to have new scouts.
Not sure if any other clubs had both of those things at the same time.
I am not sure that many people who have given Arteta time to learn his trade would accept mediocrity next season.
You thought that 2 years was enough to make Arsenal winners and I begged to differ. That isn’t making an excuse but a fairly obvious point at least to me. Not just the players but the dreadful senior management that needed rejigging.
Arteta may very well not be the manager to take the club to the next level and we can only know that at the end of the season.
The one thing that I have never understood is that excuses have been made right, left and centre in favour of Emery.
I did say 2 years, 5 and a half years later, I am still waiting. I never saw and still dont see, the depth of skill required to win a league or CL with Arteta. I just wonder how long we are going to be wasting time with a coach, who can not reach the top table. The game against PSG where our main attacking threats were dead balls and, embarrassingly, long throws into the box. Really highlighted our deficiency with coaching. The fact all last season we chose to win corners because our build up play was flawed, is sadly lacking of top quality coaching. Its a weapon but a crude weapon, that should not be our staple diet of football. Its low quality coaching.
Come on Reggie, no team plays for corners ! Corners come from a keeper tipping a shot or header over the bar or past a post, from defenders blocking a cross or deflecting goal bound efforts. The goals we do score from corners are down to us attacking.
You have chosen to ignore the obvious, which was the total domination by Man City. For 4 years no other manager broke the stranglehold. Liverpool did after 2 other years of City dominance.
Somehow, you think that Arteta should have been better than Klopp. Instead you focus on his flawed coaching and yet he has managed to finish in the top 2 for 3 years.
I’m not sure what people are defining as mediocrity. Arsenal have never won the CL and last won the PL in 2004. Would people accept a view that Wenger was a mediocre manager for over 10 years? Or that Emery is now a mediocre manager?
Does being second in the PL for 3 consecutive seasons define a team or manager as being mediocre?
So David, Whos is saying Arteta is mediocre ? Or Arsenal? The problem is David, we will never know, if Wenger had been able to spend ni on £1 billion, wether he would have won the CL. He came close, making a profit every year but he did manage to win the league, without going into huge debt. Wenger obviously used his football knowledge to get Arsenal to where he did. I wonder, would we question Wenger, if he spent millions and millions and millions on players and only finished 2nd in the league?
Wenger did spend millions, millions and millions during our trophy drought, finishing 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
Our trophy drought was 9 years. How much did he spend compared to the 5 years drought under Arteta?
While he did spend less than Mikel, during those 9 years how many times did the vastly experienced manager finish 2nd in the PL or get to the quarter finals and semi finals of the CL ?
Not even in the same universe as far as budget. And if you think its comparable at all, then you need to look at the 16 years we made a profit and won leagues. Not 5 years massive losses, massive spends and no trophies. Where is the coaching making up the difference in that?
3 League Titles in 16 years isn’t that good.
We had massive losses under the previous manager, but that seems to have been forgotten.
Its better than 0 in 5 years?
5 and a half.
Yada yada yada.
You all say that at the beginning of every season but when things go south you come up with all bunch of excuses.
“Injuries” “trophies do not matter” “pgmol” etc… we hear those every season. I will bookmark this post and refer to it when excuses start rolling.
No one makes apology for Emery that is a lie. We say he should have been given same time, money and authority like Arteta was given because he is a far superior manager to Arteta. Emery was not allowed to freeze bad apples was he?
Arteta first 2 and a half seasons were thrice as worse as Emery’s one and a half season. you kept making excuses for him yet you have the audacity to question those who defend Emery?
So here’s the thing. Some of you are as hypocritical as anything. There are certain issues that hampered Emery but you don’t want to call them excuses.
However, any issues that have affected Arteta are defined as “excuses”.
Emery is a good manager but it is highly debatable that he is far superior manager to Arteta. As far I’m concerned Arteta is a better manager at this time. Emery was also supported with a fair amount of money. One may quibble with some of the signings but quite a lot was spent for the time he was at Arsenal.
lol ,what a pleb .
What are you ramblon about?
There is no comparison between Wenger and Emery and Wenger Emery and the money and time Arteta has been afforded. None at all. Take the money away, both Wenger and Emery are better coaches, they have won more.
They’ve won more over the course of their careers.
Yet both left the club in such a state of uncertainty and anxiety.
Suggesting that Emery in particular is better simply because he’s won more is just silly.
Throw George “Stroller” Graham into the mix, when one talks about win ratio and money spent and the ban on English teams in Europe, when Arsenal under Graham won the First Division.
I can defend AW’s record but Emery so far in the EPL has fared no better than Arteta. So when I mentioned in the past excuses being made on his behalf regularly on JA I found myself pilloried for my opinion. Strip away his trophies at PSG (he had the French version of the Galacticos) but he couldn’t win the CL.
His success in the Europa league has been terrific and I thought that his arrival would mark a quick return to the top4. The EL specialist presided over a humiliating defeat in the final and I’m supposed to believe that he is better than he has so far proved to be in – English football. So far not the case. He hasn’t replicated his previous experience. Like every other club/manager with the exception of Klopp/Slot/Liverpool, it’s been Pep and City during both his and Arteta’s time at Arsenal.
I should have added Aston Villa too
Ozzie 100% both won Arsenal leagues and cups though coaching ideas that worked under pressure and win trophies.
BUT you can not change the excuse to suit. BOTH have won more trophies with LESS money. You either have it or you don’t. They proved they did, Arteta hasn’t.
And do not use Emeries time at Villa as your only comparison Sue. He hasn’t had the finance Arteta has and he has won trophies at previous clubs. And over achieved. That is the big thing, over achieving. And Arteta has not over achieved.
Emery has over-achieved in certain contexts, including at Aston Villa.
Arteta has also over-achieved at certain times.
Emery is certainly more accomplished by way of titles. However, in terms of overall managerial ability at this time in their respective careers Arteta is better than Emery. Emery’s only league title was when his squad was overwhelmingly superior to every other team in the league.
Your approach to judging a manager is to look at the number of titles they’ve won and very little else. That’s a very limited way to assess a manager.
David, if you are talking about Emery’s performance at PSG, he won more domestic titles than any other manager, other than Blanc.
As well he won Europa League titles with Valencia and Villareal, when they were not rated highly. With Villareal he beat Arteta and Arsenal head to head.
There should be no excuses this season to improve on second place.
I still place Liverpool higher especially with their new acquisition but Arsenal definitely have a shot to win it, especially if we get EZE
It’s difficult to say which team is the strongest at this time. However, if the profile of players is to be considered Liverpool have had a somewhat better transfer period up till now and are favourites.
Funnily enough, they have spent more money than us. They have had bigger sales though.
IMO This is going to be a great season! As a Liverpool supporter i cant lie, we have been impressive in this transfer window and its about time too! The claim that Arsenal have the strongest squad in the premier league to me is Ludacris and has completely lost his mind when he says unresolved issues??
Arsenal has made some amazing signings to, i believe they will be challenging this season, but call me crazy but i also think Man City have made some amazing signings, Man Utd with Cunha and Mbueno too and what makes that scary is they both are top players already with premier league experience and IF they manage to get a striker like lets say Sesko then they could be a major threat this season if Amorim gets it right.
I think Arsenal should have gone for Xavi Simons! He could have rotated with Odegaard and i think Simons is top quality, he would be better than Eze as a number 10, you will be using Madueke out on that left, but then Eze would have been better than Madueke! So i think getting Eze now makes no sense imo
Dear Liverpool fan, I agree with you on everything except that I believe Eze would be better than Xavi Simons.
Your comment may be correct when it comes to the things you mentioned regarding LP, MC, and even MU (mainly because they won’t have to worry about European football) but everything you said regarding Simons, Eze, Madueke, and Odegaard are way off the mark in my opinion.
We should try and get Rodrygo to have more options and reinforcement on the left flank which will definently make us the strongest club in the Premier League and possibly in Europe
I don’t know about Europe. You should take a look at videos of Hansi Flick’s young and incredibly talented F C Barcelona team. They’re the kind of opposition Arsenal needs to overcome there.
Well I don’t know about having the strongest squad. What I do know is that with the players that have been brought in, Arsenal will be in a better place to:
– rotate players without significantly compromising the quality of the 11 on the pitch
– cope better with misfortunes such as injuries and suspensions.
I think we can argue that Arsenal will be having its strongest in recent seasons especially if Eze were to join and we even lose Trossard
I’m really looking forward to the new season with loads of excitement
Liverpool may have to wait for next season as the players are new to each other. Too many changes at the moment.
Take Van Dijk and Salah out of that team and they are still good but not great. Both are in their 30s.A lot of teams have strengthened including us.Liverpool have but also lost late Diago Jota may his soul rest in peace, Alexander Arnold and Diaz.
Who knows? Lots of factors determine how strong a squad (rather than team, I think) is in reality because injuries, suspensions, dips in player’s form etc. all have a bearing. It’s not as though everyone is available and playing at peak levels all the time. Far from it, as we know.
The purchases that Arsenal has made so far (balanced against departures) has certainly resulted in a stronger squad in my opinion, not least with the addition of a proven striker after so many seasons without one.
What that will do for Arsenal’s chances across a long, tough, season with multiple competitions, and all those other potential factors remains to be seen though. I’m more confident going into 2025-26 than for several years – but what happens on the pitch will decide it.
For me, all this posturing with our squad is stronger than whoever’s squad is irrelevant. We will all see by the end of the season who has the strongest and most consistent squad, won’t we. 🤷♂️
Don’t forget, best coach😀
or 2nd best coach
Or 4th.
We have the best defense of the Premier, and we add a young central defender to cover for Saliba.
We got a very good goalkeeper to cover for Raya.
We reinforce and rejuvenate the midfield.
On top we increased the quality of the forward line, with Dowman as an extra bonus.
We have a big squad to cover for injuries. Definitely I think we can win a few Titles.
You are 100 percent right.
PGMOL are one of the biggest reason Arsenal dropped points in some EPL matches

Put Martinelli in place of Eze until we get Eze. Remember we have Havertz, Hargaard, Trosaard, White, Mosquera, Kiwior, Calafiori, Merino, Kepa, Jesus, Nelson, Dowman, Nwaneri. Is that a squad which anyone in his right mind can underrate? Let’s hope we can add on Eberechi Eze as the icing on the cake.

SJ,
What team do all these players play for. What a team. The other teams have no chance.🤣😂👍
It’s the Avengers team 😂
SJ,
😂👍
Seems scientific, lol

I’m just doing best case scenario with current rumoured transfers.
Eze or Rodrigo is what will need then we good to go
A team is only as strong as its weakest link, and in my opinion we do not have a top quality left back. The fact that Calafiori is once again injured is worrying to the extent that i would be reluctant to consider selling Kwior.Indeed we have reached the stage when perhaps we ought to think in terms of unloading our injury prone Italian?.
This is a good call. People have forgotten about left back, probably because we’ve talked about it so much the last few years we’re sick of it… As well as MLS is doing there currently, and as good as Calafiori is when he’s fit, it still feels not totally resolved.
Grandad,
I’m with you regards the left back issue. I don’t know why Arteta and Arsenal don’t do something radical, now I know that this is out there, but why don’t we just buy an actual left back. Now there’s a thought. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
We had a perfectly good one, but he’s now back in Scotland. SADLY.😣
That’s a poor analysis. Anyone who brings “excuses” into these discussions is just being ridiculous. A huge spate of injuries being dismissed as “excuses” is idiocy.
The issue is that many including me respect Emery. I simply don’t agree that he’s better than Arteta. He won titles at PSG which is good but PSG were clearly much better resourced than every other team in their league. Arsenal have never been in such a dominant position.
👍David
Merino should be upgraded fully to striking position. Back up for our new 14. He’s better on air and better finisher than Havertz.
If he started last season as a striker, I believe we would have scored more goals and even closer to Liverpool on points. Just an opinion😎
Arsenal have a squad, and let not come out and say we lost partey, same Arsenal fans complain about partey and now you regret he is gone… Madueke is not a reject by the way, nothing is wrong with the team. Hopefully Viktor will be good for us.
Good article but would have been good if highlighted what are the Liverpool’s deficiencies it mentions. I’d assume it must be their defence. It’s safe to assume if Salah continues in the same form as last season they will be hard to stop. Wirtz is a great addition but he will need mo in top form.
I believe that, on paper, Liverpool have the strongest team this season. But, unlike last year, the pressure is now on them and other teams are also stronger. Can’t see us and Man City dropping off like we did last season and let’s not forget we have a confident Chelsea back after the recent dismantling of the UCL Champions, PSG. Also this time round Spurs and Man U are not going to be the soft touches of last year. It’s going to be a cracking EPL season that’s for sure!!
I don’t trust Chelsea at all .
Unerrate them and get punished
