@Gai Arsenal has a big chance of beating Liverpool at home. They have been conceding goals since pre-season into the new season. Something is missing in their game with Anold, Diaz and Alister. I don’t see Arsenal losing, chances are high we shall win.

They’ve had a shaky defence alright, but they are, albeit at this very, very early stage, the top scorers as well – and you can never exclude Salah from doing something as long as he’s on the pitch.
Like you though, I think the new look Arsenal can get something from the game. The last three have been drawn there so I guess we should say that’s the minimum given the changes we’ve made.

Not a decisive match regarding who will win the league. Liverpool have to visit the Emirates. If,Liverpool take 3 points Sunday & Arsenal 3 points at the Emirates all square. No, of course not. Arsenal could win 5:0 (though best not to hold your breath waiting, I suspect) and not be champions a “mere” 35 games later.
As others have said though, it would be a big boost, particularly if it was 5:0 of course, to record a win there because they are the champions and because Arsenal have a poor record at Anfield overall.

We are undefeated in 21 straight games against the other big six and I doubt if LP will break the streak but you never know. I hope we get a wonderful win at Anfield.

Stepping in to break the suspense, as far as I can see, it was 2 September 2012 when Arsenal won there 2:0 (Podolski and Carzorla scoring).
Since then, it’s been 7 defeats and 5 draws (including the last 3 EPL games there).

The result at Liverpool will only define our season if we win or lose the league by 1,2 or 3 points. Other than that no.
If we were playing again 3 days or a week later than I would say that it would help us with momentum but as there is an international break, then if it is a poor result (for either team) then there will be time to put it behind us. It’s still early days and not a season defining game but whoever wins, will feel like they have the edge psychologicallynstraight after the game but how much of that feeling will remain when the players come back from international duty? I doubt it will be much.
The 3 points on the board is the most important thing and every game should feel like a cup final, if we want to win the league. Let’s turn them over and hopefully give belief to other teams, that Liverpool are beatable at Anfield. This is why I think the pressure is more on them than us.
