‘Predator’ Lacazette MUST start for Arsenal against Tottenham

Ian Wright has labelled Alexandre Lacazette a ‘predator’, and states that he should start every Arsenal match.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has previously overlooked the French striker when naming his starting line-up to take on the bigger teams in the division, and with close rivals Spurs coming up this weekend, there is calls that he should be given the nod for the crunch match.

Ian Wright has stated his belief that the former Lyon star needs to be given an extended run in the first team, citing a necessity to give him consistent match minutes in order for him to net continuously.

Wright said: ‘Lacazette I feel is a fantastic signing if you’re going to play him then play him continuously.

‘If I had him in my squad he would start literally every game. he takes half chances, he finishes well with both feet and I think now he is ready to be let loose.

‘The more he plays, the more consistently he plays for the duration of games the more goals he is going to score.

‘He’s that predator in the box Arsenal have been missing for many years.’

Lacazette’s numbers in Ligue 1 were incredible, and he has already shown that he can transform those numbers to the Premier League, but Arsene Wenger really needs to take him off the leish.

The goalscorer has only completed the full 90 minutes in one PL match so far this season, and has so far been benched against their better rivals, but he can only get better the more he plays.

Will Wenger bench him against Tottenham this weekend? Does the manager believe he can be more dangerous off the bench? Does he need more time to adjust to the English style of play?
