Predictions on who will score for Arsenal aganst Napoli tonight

Just a few hours to go and it is time for my final two predictions for this evening’s titanic clash with Napoli, a match I am convinced we will emerge victorious from.

I have already posted up my three early predictions which you can find here and I am complimenting those with a couple more for your consideration.

A lot will depend on what team Emery starts with but I am fairly convinced that he will start Alexandre Lacazette up front and because I feel that we will go at Napoli from the get-go I do like the Frenchman to score the first goal in the game, the odds are rather juicy.

Alexandre Lacazette to score first @ 6/1

You cannot have missed the criticism that Mesut Ozil has received for his performance against Everton and I have found that when that happens to the top players they tend to bounce back in the very next game. I have a feeling that is exactly what will happen with the German playmaker tonight.

It really would not surprise me to see him find the back of the net at some point in the game so backing him to score at any stage seems sensible to me.

Mesut Ozil to score anytime @ 4/1

So, that is it, altogether five predictions, just click on the link above to get the other three.

Remember, these are just my own personal predictions and not recommendations

  1. Ozil sucks as an assist creator nowadays, but I always rate his finishing highly

Sanchez fed him with many assists/ chances and Ozil usually finished them brilliantly. Sanchez is gone and Mkhitaryan/ Iwobi cannot replace his role, hence Ozil becomes barren

This big match is Ozil’s chance to prove he can still provide for the others. Both Lacazette and Aubameyang have to play as wide forwards in front of him tonight

    1. Ozil is 30. He shouldn’t be proving anything at this point. It’s like asking Higuain to prove he can play well for Argentina. We all know what to expect from him at this point, and same with Ozil. And whether Ozil plays well or not is completely down to chance. Your guess is as good as mine as to what to expect.

      1. Agree. But we will be stuck with him for another two seasons, therefore Emery has to use him well at home matches

  2. Ozil will score tonight

  3. I think this team lacks someone who can make a difference when it really matters. A CR7, a Messi, a Hazard, a Silva, a Sanchez on his prime. Ozil has never been that guy while Laca and Auba are too inconsistent for my liking. I think we one game changer
