Problems for Arsenal from England win in Germany

As an England fan as well as an Arsenal fan it was great to see the three lions come back from two goals down to beat Germany 3-2 in Berlin, but there were some aspects of this very entertaining game that are cause for concern from an Arsenal point of view.

The main one was the performance of the Tottenham players in the England team, with both Harry Kane and Eric Dier scoring goals, the strikerโ€™s in particular was very good and shows a player brim full of confidence and not looking like he will falter during the Premier League run-in.

Danny Rose and Dele Alli also played well, even though the latter spurned two great chances, so I expect they will go back to White Hart Lane in confident moods. And just to give Arsenal another blow in our hopes of a late surge for the Premier League title, the Leicester striker Jamie Vardy came on and scored a beauty with what I think was his first touch.

Meanwhile Mesut Ozil had a game to forget. The German was not awful but he could not influence the game as he would have liked and to be perfectly honest he looked a bit jaded. At least Danny Welbeck had a good game for England, but even if Arsenal win all the remaining games in the league we need the two teams above us to mess up. Does that look likely to you guys?

Sack Hodgson, Kane is useless Dier’s hopeless .
That’s why I never support them waste of space.
Kane scores. WTF Great strike but we’ll

Goal Vardy. Wow. C’mon lads lets get the winner.
Goal Dier. Get in there!! Yeha. England My team.
Never doubted them for a moment ๐Ÿ™‚
England till I die.:) ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ Or until next week ๐Ÿ™‚
Luckily none of us are fair weather supporters at Arsenal…

  2. Problems for Arsenal.
    Why?
As far as I know the
    goals scored in this
friendly do not count in the EPL ๐Ÿ™‚
Just like Giroud’s goal for France is not
included in our next EPL game.
    I could be wrong though.
    Were the rules changed yesterday?

  3. I can see these tottenham and leicester going far.
So many people are predicting that leicester will fall back next season.
But I for one dont think so.
The will also be as good if not better next season.
    Mark my words.
    Wenger will be shamed

“Tottenham star in shadow of Arsenalโ€™s Wilshereโ€™ claims England boss”

then Spurs stars go on to shine for EngLand….

See how most Articles on ere contradicts itself

  5. There is no room in this magnificent English team for our English core players, Wilshere, Walcott, Gibbs, Welbeck benchwarmers at best……Wengers doing??? looks like

    1. Little harsh on Welbeck I think and thought he had a good game for England. It’s even more harsh to put Welbeck and Walcott in the same sentence in that text as well. No explanation required…

  6. Dude it was a friendly, Ozil wasn’t taking the game seriously like a World Cup final, he was most likely saving his energy for the upcoming PL games where he will be heavily expected to show up.

  7. “Does that look likely to you guys?”

Forget this season bro and focus on the next one.

Hopefully, we’ll get Xhaka, Higuain and Draxler by then.

Say no to “no outfield signing”!

    1. Xhaka’s name been touted around a lot lately. How solid are those rumors because this guy would boost our midfield and Arteta and Flamini would be forgotten. Well Arteta was a great servant for our club at least.

  8. I always wonder. When England plays do the supporters ever recognize each other as rival club fans and maintain a certain resentment or is it all just forgotten for the moment?

    1. The whole idea of playing friendlies in the middle of a season is something I can’t understand at all.

  9. I must say I was impressed by the scum players lastnite. That what happen when a good manger motive even scum players they improve and bring it to the national team. Then our players r what happen when the manger can’t motive and he player get to comfortable there only fit for the bench when not injured. Must say welbeck the only one worth a place
