Gabriel Martinelli has reportedly attracted interest from Paris Saint-Germain as he could be allowed to leave Arsenal at the end of the season. Martinelli has been a key figure for the Gunners over recent seasons, consistently impressing with his technical ability, pace, and versatility in attack. However, his game time this term has been limited, leaving questions over his future at the Emirates Stadium.
Despite his strong performances, Mikel Arteta has preferred to select Leandro Trossard in his preferred attacking positions. This has left Martinelli struggling to secure a regular starting spot, even though he remains one of the most talented forwards in the squad. Over the past few years, he has been monitored by several top European clubs, including Bayern Munich and Barcelona, although Arsenal were unwilling to sanction a move during previous transfer windows.
PSG Shows Renewed Interest
As reported by Media Foot, PSG are now expressing a strong interest in Martinelli. The Ligue 1 side views him as an ideal addition to their attacking options, believing he could improve the squad’s quality despite their already talented roster. His technical skill, work rate, and experience in the Premier League make him an attractive prospect for a team aiming to challenge for both domestic and European honours. PSG would see him as a player capable of making an immediate impact while providing flexibility across multiple forward positions.
Future at Arsenal and Potential Departure
Martinelli continues to work hard to maximise his opportunities on the pitch, but he may now be open to leaving the Emirates this summer if the right offer arrives. Having spent almost a decade at Arsenal, securing a league title this season would be a fitting way to conclude his time at the club. A potential move would also allow Arsenal to generate a transfer fee, which could be reinvested into the squad, while Martinelli would gain the chance to pursue new challenges in one of Europe’s most competitive leagues. His departure could mark the end of an era for one of Arsenal’s most promising talents while opening the door for fresh additions to the team.
I said it long term ago while Arsenal must change Arteta as our coach despite this “Heading Football ” tactics that want to give us title for a long time.
There’s lack of intellectual capacity on the part of Arteta, to identify quality players. That was why Edu left in anger. Do u know that Arteta rejected Partey initially?
Now good clubs have noticed how he lacked that quality to identify good players and started coming for them! 19 minutes before the start of our recent Carabao Cup final with Man City, I wrote to Arsenal, telling them that if Martinelli did not start on the right like last season that we beat them 5-1, and Lewis-Skelly on the left full back, we can never win City and it happened so.
Arteta quickly went for his old horse, Saka, whoose 14 appearances against Man City only produced 1 winning and 3 draws! 10 loses!!!
I’m deeply afraid that Arsenal will become another Tottenham under Arteta next season because of his quest to sell off our best players.
Amos Promise,
You say Edu left in anger. Just go and ask Nottingham Forest fans what they think of a certain man named Edu.
It seems he’s not Flavour of the month there either.
Martinelli is unused player by Arteta and we lost carabao final because of that joke.We always find ourselves in this mess because of ignorance of Arteta and we reject his clazy ideas of selling our best players to anyone.
Anyone name an offensive player having a good year for us this year?
If Martinelli is up for transfer, then so should every other offensive player we have had.
Saka 2 goals in last 24 games, on track for a terrible down year, injury or not; his sharpness has not been present.
Madueke, Trossard, and Havertz have not been pulling up trees either.
Jesus another typical sub par year, and Gyokeres with his goals still doesn’t satisfy some.
It would be nice to see a bit more directness in attack, a bit more purpose over possession.
Tweaking tactics costs nothing; perhaps try that before shuffling deck chairs. We have tried how many different attackers over last several years and still lack sharpness?
Just asking a question about tactics in opponents half, not hating on our manager or players.
Durand, I do find our tactics a bit boring, but it’s got us in with a very good chance of winning the PL. I think next season there will be a change in tactics, ie more quicker attacking.
Agree that our offensive players are off this season.
