Four former footballers turned pundits predict the Arsenal v Man City result.
It is a huge game for both Arsenal and Man City on Sunday, a game neither can afford to lose really.
Any hopes City may have of pulling Liverpool back would surely be extinguished if they lose to the Gunners on Sunday and for Arsenal, a loss would be another blow as they try to turn their season around.
The pundits know full well what this game means to both teams and have made their predictions accordingly.
Former Tottenham and Man Utd striker Dimitar Berbatov is doing a bit of fence-sitting predicting an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
BBC columnist and former Liverpool defender Mark Lawrenson is not being as generous as Berbatov where Arsenal are concerned and is going for a clear 2-0 win for Man City.
Next, we have former Real Madrid and Man Utd hitman Michael Owen. Writing in his weekly betting blog he cannot see anything other than a City win and as usual, does not give a scoreline.
Finally, we have former Celtic and Arsenal ace Charlie Nicholas, The Sky Sports pundit goes for a high scoring game with City running out 4-2 winners.
So, three of the pundits go for a Man City win and only one predicting that Arsenal will get anything from the game.
No real surprises there to be honest but this is not the City of last year and they have lost as many games as Arsenal this season in the league. It is not out of the question that Arsenal can emulate the likes of Norwich City and Wolves and inflict another defeat on the reigning champions.

Their defence isn’t great, since they lost Laporte. I reckon it’ll be a high scoring affair too. And in all of Freddie’s games, we’ve conceded first – I expect that trend to continue tomorrow…..
A loss for City will guarantee they will not win the league.
Liverpool Leicester Chelsea Utd Spurs will have won the day before
so City will be super keen not to be dragged into a battle for top 6.
Guadiola is a proud man and will be motivating his team to avoid
a loss to a club in turmoil.
But we are at home and they are on a bit of a low right now
and still with out some key defenders and Aguero.
Our attack looks sharp the defence remains err not so sharp.
This is our best chance to take something from this great team.
An intriguing challenge for both teams.
I will take the 2-2 score line as a fan, but as a pundit, l will go with 1-2 or 2-1 score line, there will be no cricket score line, this is Emirate we are talking about, Man city can’t score more than twice, and we can also score twice if not thrice. Good luck to the gunners

No Aguero and man marking Jesus and Sterling can limit their attacking capabilities. This is not the City of the past 2 seasons and right now in the PL they are not too high on confidence. Torreira must be exclusively used to shield the back 4. Freddie should be careful but not go defensive as it is not our strength but play an attacking game. Offence is the best form of defence. Head says 2-2 and the heart says 3-2 to the Gunners! Good luck lads!

Well, @Glorious, we lost our last match at the Emirates 1-2 to lowly Brighton!
We have a virtually non-existent midfield, one of the leagues most poros defences, one of the poorest work rate of all teams in the league. We about to play the best midfield in the league and their players regularly work harder off the ball than most others.
With our calamitous defence, I foresee us conceding 2 early goals which will open the flood gates much like City’s match against Watford which ended in a cricket scoreline.
Regardless of the result of the match, Ljunberg should be blameless as we are not expected to get anything from a match in which we are outgunned.
Couldn’t agree more. When you’re getting battered by the likes of Southampton and Brighton in your own backyard, one can only worry when a team like City turns up.
