Real Madrid have offered Vinicius Junior a new contract, with the proposal including a significant salary increase that could bring him closer to remaining at the club.

Talks between the attacker’s representatives and the club have resumed over the renewal of his current deal, while Arsenal continue to wait in the hope of signing him. The Gunners believe they have an opportunity to bring one of football’s biggest stars to the Premier League, highlighting the ambition behind their interest.

Vinicius has reportedly shown positive indications that he would be open to a move to the Premier League if he does not extend his contract with the Spanish club.

The latest developments have added further intrigue to the situation as Arsenal continue to monitor any progress regarding his long-term future.

Real Madrid Await a Decision

According to the Athletic, Real Madrid’s latest contract offer is closer to the terms that Vinicius has been seeking from the club.

The Spanish side remain determined to keep the forward, and a decision regarding his future is now expected as soon as possible. Vinicius has recently returned to training after representing Brazil at the World Cup this summer and is focused on regaining full fitness and reaching his highest level of performance for the team.

His immediate priority remains preparing for the new season, even as speculation surrounding his future continues.

Social Media Activity Sparks Discussion

While Arsenal continue to monitor the situation, the Metro reports that Vinicius has sent Gooners into meltdown after completely removing content from his Instagram account.

There are no photographs on his profile and he also no longer has a biography, prompting further discussion among supporters. The changes could simply indicate that he intends to upload a new collection of photographs and add a new biography.

Although the social media activity has generated widespread speculation, there has been no official indication that it is connected to his contract situation. For now, attention remains on whether Vinicius will agree a new deal with Real Madrid or allow uncertainty over his future to continue.

  1. I will be delighted when he signs a new contract with RM as he could well have been a disruptive influence at our Club.Time to concentrate on finalising the deal with the excellent BG and bringing in a top quality CB to cover what could be the prolonged absence of Saliba.

        1. SueP,

I’m in total shock, as you know I was probably his biggest advocate and had to keep defending him to the one’s that didn’t want him.

How wrong could I be. 😂🤣👍

  2. A completely unrealistic and unachievable transfer when it became clear that Arsenal were simply being used to allow Vinicius Jr to negotiate the deal he wanted.
Berta fell for it hook, line and sinker.
Three and a half weeks left of the transfer market. Are there any Chelsea left wing misfits that idiot Berta can sign for £100 million?

  3. Berta joined in time for last summer’s Transfer Window,

He brought in several major players.

Arsenal won the P L and came ‘within a Penalty’ of winning the European Cup.

this season we have Cristos T – who has shown his skills and quality already in pre-season and Bruno G – who is about to be confirmed officially – and we all know how good he is.

Berta may ‘take his time’ getting transfers done – because he ‘goes into the detail’ – and that’s usually a very good thing to do in huge business transactions involving tens / hundreds of millions.

But the point is – He gets the Deals Done.

As Sue points out – You can bet he hasn’t put all the club’s eggs in one basket – and he’ll have other potential transfers up his sleeve’

That’s his job, it’s what he gets paid for – and so far he’s shown himself to be pretty good at it.

V J isn’t the first elite player, and won’t be the last elite player to try to use another Club’s interest to leverage a better deal from their Current Club.

In my view – and in agreement with Grandad’s view – it’s time to move on from V J and focus on other transfer opportunities and requirements.

We can all assess the results of the Transfer Window on 2nd September.

There’ll be a few more quality improving additions signed up by then.

            1. Dan,

Not just you, I meant other poster’s in general. It was never going to happen, but it did pass the time I suppose. 😂

              SueP,

What forfeit did you have in mind.😂

                    1. Dan,

Whether it’s possible I’d like to see Barcola or any of the PSG left sided players to be honest. Whether any of them are a viable target for Arsenal is another question.
