Should Arsenal worry about Barcelona coming for their stars?

Paris Saint-Germain look set to complete a world-record smashing move to sign Neymar from Barcelona, and Arsenal could be targeted as the Catalan club look to reinvest that income.

The French giants are said to be paying €222 Million to sign the Brazilian superstar, with the deal expected to be completed in the coming days. This will leave a hole in the Catalan’s squad, and they will no doubt be spending a large chunk of that income on bolstering their team.

There is already talk about Alexis Sanchez being eyed for a return, with the forward seemingly keen on the exit door this summer. Arsenal would likely require a profit on the £31.7 Million reported fee in order to allow him to leave, but it would be in our best interests to have him move abroad, instead of joining Man City in 12 months time for free!

Barca have also been linked with a move to sign former La Masia youth product Hector Bellerin, and we have rebuffed any talk of his exit also. Bellerin is believed to favour a return to Spain however, with his family already having had to return for family reasons. He has a long-term contract with us which we can force him to stick to, but the money available to make their intended signings this summer could see them move strongly.

Aaron Ramsey is another player who has been linked with a possible move to the Nou Camp previously, and he is also into the final 12 months of his contract, which means we may have little to fight about should they come calling.

Should we be worried about losing any of our key players thanks to this crazy summer window?
