Arsenal have not moved quickly enough in this transfer window, which could leave them with limited options when it closes. The delay may also result in the Gunners missing out on some of their preferred targets as rival clubs continue to act decisively in the market.
The club have already lost Morgan Rogers to Chelsea, and they are now close to losing another player they have been linked with. According to Metro Sport, Manchester United are close to completing a move for Manu Kone after making significant progress in their efforts to sign the midfielder.
Arsenal risk missing out on Kone
The Frenchman impressed during the World Cup and was one of the standout performers for the France national team, which led to Arsenal being linked with a possible move for his services. His performances have attracted attention from several clubs, with Manchester United now appearing to be leading the race.
However, Arsenal appear to have prioritised a move for Bruno Guimaraes instead. Despite their interest in the Brazilian midfielder, the Gunners have not yet made an official approach, a situation that has frustrated some supporters who want the club to strengthen their squad quickly.
Manchester United move ahead in transfer race
Kone would have been a valuable addition to Arsenal’s squad, but the report states that he has now reached a deal in principle to join Manchester United this summer. The Red Devils moved quickly to contact his representatives and have made progress with the midfielder.
United are now looking to complete an agreement with Roma to finalise the transfer. Although the deal is not officially completed, Arsenal still have an opportunity to enter the race and attempt to change the outcome.
However, their chances will depend on how quickly they act and whether Kone remains a priority in their transfer plans. If Arsenal continue to delay, they risk allowing more rivals to secure the players they have been monitoring.

ADMIN COMMENT
So here are some simple rules which I must insist commenters follow….
You agree not to give any personal abuse to other Arsenal fans. Everyone is allowed to hold their own opinions even if you disagree with them. It COSTS NOTHING TO BE POLITE TO OTHER ARSENAL FANS.
CALLING ALL ARSENAL FANS! Anyone who would like to contribute an Article or Video opinion piece on JustArsenal, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us through this link…

There is a logical explanation.
1] If Guimares costs £75m and we have spent £75m on Tzolis and Hincapie we need to hold back monies for Alvarez £120m say so that would be £270m with around £30m recouped thus far.
Everyone likes Koné. But while we’ve been linked to him repeatedly in the media, we’ve never made an enquiry for him. He’s not in reality a primary target for us.
Besides, Morgan Rogers was never a loss for us, really. Very soon Chelsea will be begging us to buy him from them like they’re always fond of doing
It’s silly season again.
According to the Media, Arsenal are interested in buying every available player on Planet Earth.
If we don’t buy every available player on the Planet, then we’re ‘struggling financially’ or we’re ‘lacking ambition’.
If another club ‘beats us’ to signing one of these ‘Planet Earth’ players – we are ‘to slow to act or we’ve ‘failed to get the deal over the line’.
By the time the Community Shield come around on 16th August it’s very likely most if not all of our genuine targets will be in place.
Let’s not worry too much about what other teams do – It’s what Arsenal does that matters.
I’ll bet that by 31st July – 1st August, we’ll have another 2 major signings in, and some of our ‘sale players moved on.
