The man who never gives respect – demands respect

Mourinho always disrespected Arsenal and Wenger by Dan Smith

Anyone else see the irony in Jose Mourhino asking the press to respect him.

He says he deserves it based on the three Premierships he has won.

Of course this is the first season since becoming a manager he can say that with Arsene Wenger having left English Football.

Yet the Portuguese never took into account the hat trick of titles the Frechman won, done so with less money spent and a style of football praised worldwide.

Indeed while the majority of his peers long considerd Mr Wenger a legend, Jose was mocking him for being a ‘specalist in failure’.

That quote was back when he naively thought he was going to build a legacy at Chelsea, backed for the next decade by a Russia Billionare.

So how the all mighty have fallen with the ‘special one’ demanding respect. What goes around comes around…

    1. Waiting for the confirmation of two big renewals.Haters will be put to shame again.I hope you know the two already?

      1. @Kev-why are you putting yourself on such a high pedestal? It seems a majority of the fan base are against Ramsey-do you not believe this could be because we are again witnessing a player holding the Club to ransom over money?Do you not even notice that YOU have continued to slag off Ozil in replying to posts these last few days yet you feel so self important that you now start having a go at others for condemning Ramsey.
You used to be quite fun to read what with all your muddled up transfer cock-ups but you now act as though your a regular on Arsenal FanTV.
Anyway I’m sure Tomas Lemar will be signing this afternoon won’t he?

        1. High pedestal? For what?Money or gold?I’m talking about Reiss Nelson and Ramsey signing and you are here saying all sorts of things. What at all is wrong with some of you?
I was insulted when I said Aaron Ramsey and areiss Nelson I’ll be renewing so I guess I have the right to have to have a go at them though I won’t insult any of them.As for Ozil no comments.I also don’t rate Ramsey that much and some of our players.Honestly the impact of most of our players are overrated.

          1. “Haters will be put to shame” is what you said. Why would anyone be put to shame? Are they not entitled to an opinion ?

            1. You know Phil, I may be an old fogie but this constant fan use of the word”hater” for someone else who does not rate a such and such a player as highly as the one posting does, is really tedious. We used to say this was fan opinion and was an important ingredient in what makes football and discussing it interesting. But now we are told that we “hate ” such and such a player simply for not rating him as highly as some other fans do. This is crazy and wrong use of English and fosters completely unnecessary division between fans of the SAME club. I ask you, as someone whose views I much respect and agree with almost 100%, to help me in fighting this ” hate” nonsense, both on here and elsewhere. Difference of opinion for rating football players. Hate to be reserved for terrorism, bigotry, cruelty, crime etc. Ok?

              1. I’m totally with you on this JF-but I’m probably as guilty as anyone to be fair.I used to say I hated Wenger.I did until he left then realised I only hated him as our Manager. So I deliberately tone my comments down a bit now so as not to come across quite so viciously.
I don’t hate Aaron Ramsey.I just totally dislike the way he seems to be holding us to ransom. He seems a clean living family man who is never in the press for the wrong reasons so what is there to hate about him?
A good call of yours though JF.

  1. I wonder if this experience will mellow Mourinho out at all, if he might become more humble when talking about his fellow peers …nah! didn’t think so.

  2. The problem with wenger was that he became outdated and his transfers after 2009 were mostly bad buys, but keeping them and other negatives aside, he kept the club in a respectable position (except last 2 seasons) despite having to cope with big stars leaving the club in almost every window, which mourinho can only dream of. I also think that SAF is slightly overrated because ManU broke the british record for transfers for Roy keane, Andy cole, RVN and Veron and even during their worst times scholes, giggs, ferdinand, neville, rooney etc were loyal and they already had a big enough stadium compared to the highbury, yes, he won the PL more no. of times but one must also consider these facts

    1. manager depends on the budget and scout recommendation for purchases….

if there are no new replacement signings…either keep the current players or go for youth..

probably the reason why pogba and martial is being kept…mourinho doesnt want them but yet he has to keep them as there are no replacements coming in

  3. Both managers find
    it hard to walk away
    They are addicted to the
adrenaline rush, the limelight and the money.
    Both became insular isolated dictators
living in their mansions railing against
any one who dared suggest their glory days were over.
Wenger demanded to stay on because he won 3 titles 15 tears ago.
Mou wants to stay on at Utd because he won 2 titles 12 years ago
and one 3 years ago at Chelsea.
Even as the Russians were bombing the bunker
Hitler still claimed he was going to win the war.

  4. Why are writers on here obsessed with Man U and Mourinho?
They are crap and he’s a twat. No more articles please!

  5. damn.. another mourinho article.. nobody cares about him or what is going on in united.. we have our own issue to worry about

  6. My only comment on this issue is that the fanbase at United compared their situation to ours with Wenger.
It’s on YouTube and might just be food for thought.

Long may the mayhem continue for Maureen and his club

  7. What to sow . Thats what you will reap .. Mourchino for telling wenger as specialist in failure ..
Now its your turn to face the failure message from all inspit of spending so much money .
