The ones (and where) to watch for Arsenal this week

We Arsenal fans have almost two weeks before we can see our beloved Gunners back in action when the new Swansea manager brings his team to north London. Until then we have some international action to slake our thirst for football and there are 12 Arsenal players who could be involved for their countries.

First up this week for those of us keen to check on the performances of our players is the brilliant young right back Hector Bellerin, who is almost certain to start for the Spain under 21s tonight against San Marino. To be honest I am surprised he has not been moved up to the senior side but if he keeps playing well it won’t be long. This game is being shown on Spanish television station Cuatro.

Easier to see will be the England under 21 match against Kazakhstan which is on BT sport 1 and 4 p.m. UK time and could feature both Chambers and Holding in the centre of defence. Later that night Alexis Sanchez and Chile take on Ecuador but you will need an android box or an internet stream to watch it. For the very dedicated Arsenal watchers out there our keeper David Ospina’s Colombia also play in the early hours but once again it is not on a major channel.

On Friday evening Sky Sports are showing the France v Bulgaria match with Koscielny likely to start but if you would rather watch the new Gunner Granit Xhaka as Switzerland face Hungary at the same time you will need a stream.

On Saturday we have England taking on Malta at 5 p.m. with the possible inclusion of Walcott and Chamberlain and that game is going to be on ITV, before Germany with Ozil and Mustafi take on the Czech Republic and you can watch it on Sky.

The week’s Arsenal interest is finished off on Sunday with Iwobi and Nigeria and then Elneny and Egypt on Sunday afternoon. Once again though, some internet searching will be needed to find these games. Good luck to you and all the Arsenal stars on international duty.
