The transfer news all Arsenal fans have long been waiting for

Last week we reported that Fenerbahce was interested in signing Arsenal flop Shkodran Mustafi but it turned out that the price tag of £25 Million was too steep for the Turkish giants.

But Gooners need not despair, the latest reports are claiming that a loan deal may be on the cards.

It is being reported that officials from Fenerbahce will be in London next week to open up talks on a one year loan and apparently, Arsenal are open to the idea.

Put it this way, there is no chance that representatives from Fenerbahce would travel all the way to the UK unless they had previously been given an indication that they would not be wasting their time.

A loan deal could actually be a good thing. If Mustafi did well it would either maintain his valuation or even see it increased, whereas if he flopped it would be no worse than the situation today.

It has to be remembered that Mustafi is not actually a bad defender, he is a world cup winner after all, no, he is a useless Premier League defender but that does not mean he will not be a success in other leagues.

This could happen very fast because if a deal is agreed with Arsenal then the officials will open up talks immediately with Mustafi with regards to personal terms.

The first week in July could end up being a really pleasant time for Arsenal fans, a new kit, Mustafi possibly gone and a high chance of signings, either Kieran Tierney or William Saliba. Maybe even both.
