Three Aston Villa players that can do damage to Arsenal

There was a time that promoted teams posed almost no danger to the top-six, they were quickly dispatched and done with but that is not so much the case any more, just ask Man City.

Aston Villa pose a significant threat, they have spent heavily in the summer and have already shown this season that they will not be easy to beat.

They have a squad full of talented players but these three, in particular, are very dangerous and Arsenal must contain them.

Jack Grealish

Make no mistake, the 24-year-old playmaker is highly talented, he has the ability to not only score goals out of the blue but to carve defences open. We all saw what Watford’s Gerard Deulofeu did to Arsenal last weekend, well, this lad can do even more damage.

Wesley

Villa bought the 22-year-old Brazilian in the summer for £22m from Club Bruges and he is already making an impact, he is temperamental but is also clinical in front of the goal, he will give the Arsenal defence a difficult time and they will have to be alert.

John McGinn

The Scottish international is a tenacious midfielder and he will be looking to take control of the middle of the park, he scored against Tottenham on the opening day of the season as well as scoring the winner in last seasons Championship playoff, the 24-year-old is going to be handful that is for sure.

There are others but these three, in my opinion, can make the difference and must not be underestimated. Watford has already shown Arsenal what happens when a team gets at you and these players are more than capable of doing just that.

  1. Deulofeu is a tricky right-footed winger that can play well on the left side. Arsenal should have gotten him after they failed to get Zaha and sold Iwobi

But unlike Watford that have several quick wide players, Aston Villa are packed with towering players. Namely Wesley, Kodjia, Mings, El Ghazi, Davis and Engels

Those tall monsters could pose a huge problem for our small defenders. Luckily we will play at the Emirates, hence I expect us to win the ball possession with 4-2-3-1

  2. With our defence any team in the PL will have players who pose a threat like we saw against Watford

Will be tough but I’m hoping that playing at Home will help us Win
