Today all Arsenal fans will be united – Come on Liverpool

If Arsenal fans thought it felt bad getting thrashed by Chelsea on Thursday night they will feel a whole lot worse if Tottenham lifts the Champions League trophy.

Losing against Chelsea and missing out on Champions League football is a short term situation, it may take one year, five years or however long for us to get back to the top table but eventually, we will get there. But, we will never ever live down Spurs winning the Champions League, that will be there for an eternity and boy will they let us know.

We had better get prepared for the worst because while I think Liverpool will win nothing is certain.

Spurs have gone on about beating us to the double and that was 58 years ago, they go on about beating us to a European trophy and that was 56 years ago, just try telling them about how many doubles we have won and about the invincibles, watch how quick they come back with what they achieved in the early ’60s.

At this moment we do have the upper hand because of the number of trophies we have won and because of that invincible season and let’s not forget winning the title TWICE at White Hart Lane but that will all take a back seat to them winning the Champions League.

They will even have a solid argument that they would be a bigger club in the event they beat Liverpool tonight.

It just cannot be allowed to happen.

Life will be miserable if they win and that is why I will be supporting Liverpool with every ounce of passion this evening, in fact, I will be supporting them as much as if it was Arsenal playing a game.

I will be sick to my stomach if Spurs win, I cannot describe the feeling of utter despondency that will sweep over me.

In 30 years they will still be rubbing our noses in it, our unborn grandkids will suffer taunts I shit you not.

God, I cannot reiterate enough how much I want Liverpool to win.

And I know I am not alone, I know every single Arsenal fan feels exactly the same.
