Please no, imho both second rate players, overhyped compared to what they actually produce.
Being members of a World Cup winning side elevates you a little higher than “second rate”, and I don’t think that there’s much hype at all over either of them.
I’d rate them both quite highly, but probably not suited to Arsenal right now.
We are looking at Vinicus jr. Shouldn’t be overpriced and world class. Problem for me is not his undoubted ability, which is off the scale but he is ball greedy. Maybe the prem may temper that and make him a better player. Would like him over many mentioned.
It appears he is one of several players Arsenal are showing an interest in.
On paper it would be a bit of a coup but I always worry about attitude and a reasonably harmonious dressing room. It’s not that long ago that it was a problem and Emery’s downfall was in part due to those issues

Okay. I’ll talk transfers. Even though I banned myself from talking transfers weeks ago. But not talking transfers leaving me with nothing much to say at the moment, other than I had too much to dream last night.
This “Junior” news come from Spain, invented by a club who desperately need us to help them out.
If a big clubs messed up big time by having 2 Mbappe’s just walking around the pitch so their system doesn’t work anymore, and they thoughtlessly signed a manager who hates one of their teams superstars, don’t help them out.
I’m very excited by Bruno, I think he’s a great signing, and coming here not Man Utd is big coupe for us. I’m not worried it’s costing 80 million for 29 yr old becuase he seems a player with a good 4 or 5 years at the top still in him. I don’t see him as replacement for Odegaard, Bruno’s top drawer rotation for Rice, Ode and Zooby who can’t be playing twice a week season after season – any combination of 3 from those 4 looks exciting.
I’ve no time at all for Christos – he was an utter flop last time in England, he’s not Prem proven for that amount of money, his stats in the farmers league arn’t that great either for that amount of money. I think it might be like that film where Butler and Lambert got called up for England by mistake. Or even worse than that, another signing like Viera.
I don’t think we need to go mad on signings “to go to a different level.” The money Liverpool overpaid on players certainly took them to a different level. We also have to remember Ode and Kai were both crocked at the same time last season, Kai could play 10 with Gyok in place of Ode, if their injuries don’t overlap, we could potentially have stronger midfield next season even without Bruno when you consider how much of last season Merino missed as well, at same time as Ode and Kai, and how well Skells played in Euro final and other tense matches too. And we have Eze. Zooby and Eze could both be better this season, their first seasons here need not define them in our eyes.
I wonder how fit Stones is, and ever will be again in his career. Overall Mosqey did little wrong when he deputised a lot last season. Ricky and Hinky can play centre back too.
I would sign Bruno and Kenny and stop there, unless White or Martinelli leaves.

I mean Zooby and Eze could both be better this season, their first seasons here need not define that’s their best contribution to us in our eyes.
We need to continue to sign squad depth and quality rotation options not all eggs in superstar baskets who would need complete system change to fit in here, that seems obvious to me.
In terms of replacements to have an even better season, Ode, Bruno, Zooby, Merino, Rice, Skelly all offer very different things to a midfield, it’s more down to a bench to make the right calls for each moment, than just bringing in highly paid superstars of world football.
We had lots of key injuries last season, same positions at same time. In draw at Sunderland, Merino was our only fit striker, in draw at Chelsea neither Sali or Gabi were on the field. We could be stronger next season without any changes, just less injuries.
But quality rotation options to give likes of Rice more breathers and rest is the way to go with any transfer money available.
Oh. And definitely sign Kenny.
