TYPICAL Arsenal may lose Alexis after loaning THREE strikers!

Arsene Wenger has revealed that Arsenal are sweating on the fitness os our star of the season so far Alexis Sanchez. A blow does not quite cover this news for Arsenal fans, it is more like a hurricane.

The manager’s latest injury update, revealed on the official Arsenal website, explains that the Chile international forward, who has scored a third of our Premier League goals, is a real doubt for Sunday’s home clash with Aston Villa. It is his hamstring that is the problem and Wengers says they will not know if he can play until the day before the game.

I wonder if the Frenchman is now wondering whether he may have been a bit hasty in allowing three of the club’s first team strikers, Lukas Podolski, Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell to leave on loan. If he had just waited then at least we could have had Campbell available to face Villa on Sunday before heading off to La Liga and Villarreal.

As it is, we are left hoping that Alexis is fit enough and if not, then Wenger has the decision on whether to play Ozil out wide, where he has never really excelled, or to give young Chuba Akpom a start. It also leaves us vulnerable to any more injury problems that might occur in the front line.

Has Wenger dropped another ball on this one?

  1. he has been playing non stop for us, plus muffdiving around london, bound to happen sooner or later.
as long as hes back for the spuds,we need him..i need him
i had a dream that he was my skating partner in the movie -blades of glory…strange

    1. Are you sure you area muffdiver? Dreaming about a man indicates that muff is not your primary desire.

But seriously, hamstrings are very common injuries that run from a week out to a Sturridge 1/2 2 season out. The very muscular guys have the worst hamstring problems.
Alexis will be out this week. We can handle Villa with Giroud, Walcott and Chuba.

        1. ahahahahaha! Auto correct gotcha ?
Muffs is a Lady Gooner? My sincere apologies !

I will french kiss a Spud in repentance !

          1. haywill just kicked me in the nu…i mean err v*gina.

u win pythagoras- please put the keyboard down πŸ™

  2. No reason to panic. We have enough firepower to cope against villa. We shouldn’t risk him for villa if he’s injured it’s not worth it

  3. BAZZINGA‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘‘

  4. No need to panic at all. Rest him if there’s any doubt, save him for Spurs. An attack of Ozil, Cazorla, Walcott & Giroud should be more than enough against Villa.

    1. They still have not shut up about the 91 win.
This will just push the rivalry into overdrive ! I like it.

          1. @muff

Hahah if I asked hafiz for 50$ worth he would tell me to “stop penny pinching like wenger, and spend some money. If you want quality you have to spend”

  5. Campbell is starting for Villarreal I hope he plays good and I hope he starts the rest of the season. Good luck joel

    1. Villareal’s defense is damn good, well now that Gabriel is here I don’t know.

Their strikers suck. Uche misses in front of goal like Gervinho.

They need Campbell for the season. Let us hope he does not score 15, and they want to keep him.

      1. I actually like uche he’s gone off the boil a little but in the beginning he was scoring for fun. And I hope Joel does score 15 goals since he signed a new contract before he left

  6. We have enough fire power, however Welbeck and Giroud miss lots of chances. As opposed to Sanchez, Costa who score when given a chance. Welbeck and Giroud will need to be at the top of their game. We may need to rely on Walcott

I’m not sure who will play on the Left Wing- Ozil or Welbeck?

    ……………………..Ospina
    Gibbs….Koscielny…Mertsacker…Bellerin
    …………………….Coquelin
    Welbeck…….Ozil…..Cazorla………Walcott
    ……………………..Giroud

  7. No problem.
Sanchez was due a break anyways.
Villa at home should be comfy.
Not like last season of course πŸ™‚
Don’t risk him until he is right.
    Want him for Monaco .

  8. Campbell and Sanogo wouldn’t have started anyway, Podolski maybe. If Sanchez is out then Wenger chooses two from Walcott, Ox, Gnarbry, Ozil and Little Mozart (and by next week, Welbeck). No drama here, move along.

  9. It’s not a problem, we have Cazorla, Ozil, Ox, Walcott, Monreal, Rosicky, Akpom, even Coquelin who can fill in on the LW/LM, and Welbeck is back next week. From the report it sounds like a one week thing, so I would rest him against Villa regardless.

  10. what if wenger sells arsenal and they change our name into abu dhabi arsenal or abu arsenal dhabi like madrid πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

    1. RM is like a high spending whore. They have to bend over to keep the “galaticos” paid.
RM will have to sell Cristiano’s rights to the “Oil Feckeroos” very soon to stay in business.

Man City had to fly to the Middle East to earn 20 miilion just to report FFP “earnings’
      Cost them the FA Cup.

      Bend over for oil money!

    2. Or…we call our stadium the ‘Emirates’ or something (cough cough like the huge injection of Arab money that already happened in exchange for their brand and its marketing)..

  11. the arabs should buy spurs instead and rename them tottenham hotarabia dhabi dhabi πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

  12. and i really think arsenal should relocate to ohio well win titles here…. πŸ™ πŸ™
and the weather is fair except in fall and winter πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™
and the people are also friendlier here!!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€
and we have baseball and football too…..

      1. your american?
i assumed you were a austrian intellectual who worked for the royal symphony in vienna…

        i feel cheated

  13. and i seriously consider that we should sign another guy whose name is also alexis sanchez so when the real alexis gets injured we can still put the name alexis on the starting lineup and the opponents will think we will play the real alexis whereas we play the fake alexis so their tactics will collapse and confused

  14. What did we expect really? He’s been playing every game almost 90 mins. Running your only true star into the ground is something we’re very accustomed to here at Arsenal and minute management has never been our strength. It is what it is, if we can get him back against the spuds then that’s all that matters at this point in time.

    1. Don’t be so dramatic. You do know that there are 53 PL players who have played more minutes don’t you? 8 or 9 of the Chelsea team have played more PL minutes than Sanchez.

  15. Well I’m hoping we leave him out completely, no need to take risks, if Walcott, giroud, cazorla, rosicky, ozil and ramsey can’t find a way past Aston Villa then we may as well give up. Add to that akpom will be given another chance you have 7 players there more than capable of scoring against a team looking over their shoulder at relegation. The other 11 players ospina Szczesney Bellerin chambers mertesacker koscielny Gabriel monreal gibbs coquelin and flamini in the squad should also be capable of stopping the worst attack in the league from scoring. That’s my 18 for sunday, I will let wenger decide who starts.

  16. I agree with the comments about rest Alexis for the Aston Villa game. Even if he is fit I think he should not be in the squad. Let him have a complete rest for a few days.

  17. hahahahahaha, and you guys are acting all shocked and surprised by the professor of failure and nearly signed stupid decisions . this old clown is so deluded that he thinks he is still a decent manager . hahahahahaha , karma is a great man !!!, i look forward to being without alexis because up until now we have been but a one man team . lets see wengers genius work now , or rather lack of !. hahahahah , this is so funny , what goes around comes around . i hope you wenger wordshippers are shit8ing your pants now !.

    1. we havent been a one man band for quite some time now bud
i dont think anyone is bricking it just yet
take a chill pill and have a nap

    2. Believing your own nonsense could be a very dangerous game indeed. Statistics show that Arsenal is the only team that has scored goals from the most number (18) of players. Statistics also show that of the top four goal scorers Alexis has the least contribution (30%) to overall team goals. Aguero has 31%, Costa has 33%, while Austin has 56%. These statistics suggest that of the teams that finished in the top four last season, it is Chelsea that is a one man team for its over reliance on Costa for goals.

People need also to realize that scoring goals is not the only thing that matter to a team. A team must players must defend, provide assists for goals, win the ball to prevent the opposition from launching attacks, etc. It is therefore too simplistic to argue that to attribute results to one player. Would Alexis have scored those goals without the midfield that retained possession to launch attacks? This crap about one man team should just disappear from sane minds.

      1. Spot on Analyzer. But you will know that the objective review and assessment of Arsenal has long since disappeared from the media fraternity and 80% of the punters who listen to some of their brain-dead ramblings are happy to suck up to these plain daft theories. Whatever is said in the media about Arsenal you now have to automatically assume the dead opposite must be true. Different standards prevail – it now looks like having a star player with match-winning ability is a capital crime. Last season Arsenal’s “crime” was the exact opposite in the media eyes – not having that ruthless striker who could turn matches. Amazed the media don’t get properly taken to task more often for their moronic dross – they have even gotten our lads on here believing it; step forward the “burke”.

  18. We’ve got enough cover, plus players on loan are exactly that…on loan, so can presuable be recalled under the terms of said loan?
