Unsettled Sturridge seeks out Arsenal talks for last minute move

Liverpool’s Daniel Sturrdge has tasked his representatives to seek out talks with Arsenal, in hope of striking a Deadline Day switch.

The England international is said to be unhappy with his current role under Jurgen Klopp, having picked up under 100 match minutes from the opening four competitive matches, and having been utilized out wide also.

Sturridge is now claimed to be pushing to move, although Liverpool are not believed to be keen on entertaining the idea.

The former Chelsea and Manchester City forward is now claimed to have had his representatives seek out talks with Arsenal over a possible loan deal.

The Gunners have already brought in Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna to back-up first choice striker Olivier Giroud up front, while Danny Welbeck is now expected to be able to return early from his injury, and could well be back before Christmas.

The possibility of bringing in Sturridge also could be a great coup, with his impressive goal per game ratio being a huge boost to our attack.

We have been linked with a move to sign the Liverpool man for a number of months, but a deal had appeared unlikely with many LFC fans relying on his goals, the manager may not see his importance in the same light.

The Arsenal Horse said we was hoping to land one more signing, could this be it?

Could we strike a deal to bring Sturridge in from our rivals, either in a permanent or temporary deal? If we show an interest, he may well hand in some sort of request if he really is unhappy…
