Video – Arsenal match against Standard Liege preview and predicted lineup

Watch Curtis Shaw preview the Arsenal match against Standard Liege.

Arsenal fan and Youtuber Curtis Shaw has put up another good video previewing tonights Europa League clash with Standard Liege.

Shaw highlights how crucial this game actually is and the importance of finishing top of the group.

He also selects the team he would put out against the Belgium side this evening.

He does make one minor mistake with regards to the suspended Mustafi, which is a shame but forgivable.

Have a watch, it is a decent video as usual from Shaw.

  1. THIS VIDEO, WHERE CURTIS HESITATES TO FIND ENOUGH PLAYERS EVEN TO FILL POSITIONS , SHOWS CLEARLY THE PAUCITY OF OUR SQUAD. THOUGH NOTHING MUCH HAS CHANGED FOR A DECADE PLUS IN THE SO CALLED AND LAUGHABLY DESCRIBED “DEFENCE”. We are renowned throughout top football as the team and club who does not believe in defence and so does not want or even try to get proper defenders in. IT IS A WONDER WE EVEN PICK A KEEPER AT ALL, LET ALONE THE SOLE TOP DEFENDER IN THE CLUB IN LENO. Though I also like MARTINEZ AND TIERNEY.

  2. The new uprising Arsenal after they defeated West Ham at away in the PL last Monday night that put paid to a slum in match winning suffered by Arsenal that ran for weeks. But however, the Gunners should in tonight’s match in the ELC be capable to also beat Standard Liege at away in the last group stage match in the competition in which Arsenal just need to play to a draw game in match to make certain of their qualification to the knockout stages of the competition. And in this quest, Arsenal will tonight make a certainty of their qualifying for the next round of the competition by not unlikely play to a draw in the match but likely beat Liege resoundingly well in the match. Which by the Gunners so doing to Liege in the match, Arsenal will leave their critics to start thinking whether if a resurgence in match winning is now taking place at Arsenal.

    1. I like your optimism Samuel but not sure I share, especially with the injuries – they may well be ok today but I am very worried about Man City…still, maybe the second half effort against West Ham is something of a tonic for what ails and we see progress.

  3. I say play the reserves cant get any worse plus we have to ship 5-0 to go out. No way Liege is putting five past Martinez if Freddy puts out a balanced team.

  4. For the Arsenal match away to Standard Liege in the ELC tonight, are these 5 senior team Arsenal players of: Bellerin, Mustafi, Tierney, Xhaka and Pepe all out of the match for the various degree of injuries they are having? Well, I’ll go to Arsenal.com later to find out.
