Arsene Wenger gives his thoughts on the player he signed, Granit Xhaka.
It was only natural that Arsene Wenger would be asked about Granit Xhaka. That is exactly what happened when Wenger did a stint as a pundit on Bein Sports.
Xhaka has been stripped of the Arsenal captaincy for his behaviour in the recent 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace. He swore at the fans, threw the captains armband to the floor and slowly walked off the pitch.
Wenger was very diplomatic with his thoughts but listening to him it was clear that he felt Xhaka showed a lack of class.
That said, he obviously had a lot of time for the Swiss international and did not condemn him outright.
I will not give you any more spoilers and you can listen for yourselves. Wenger is certainly worth listening to whatever your feelings may be of him.
Whatever his haters say, the man has class. Period.
Amen. A gift to football.
Now Wenger has had time away you can see his class as man and a football man always honest speaks of Arsenal with pure love and still speaks in a way that defends the players fathers don’t always get it right bit if they give love and try what more can we ask for.
Respect Arsenal I look at him as a father figure in football
This man is all about loyalty, dignity & class.
I hope Wenger get’s the job at Bayern. I’ve always wondered what he could do if backed financially by the club. Will definitely be watching Bayern to see how he does if he get’s it.
He’s already been ruled out by Bayern.

I just can’t understand why a lot of fans want Arsene to get a manager job like the man is 70yrs old. What has he got to prove or haven’t he done enough. Why would you want to have a 70yr old fly all over Europe weekly trying to mentor young men and boys. The man has done is fair share now just let him be.

According to the man himself he feels ready to take om a new manager-job. He also feels more relaxed after some time off. Who are you to tell him that he can’t?
I just wanted to see what he could do if he had some funds, if he really is past it.
Unfortunately for Arsene Wenger football, particularly management, is his life. He has sacrificed a lot, for example family wise, for the prestige and monetary rewards of his success.
For him his involvement in football is like a drug to which he is addicted. Punditry alone doesn’t do it for him. He finds it impossible to just walk away and retire.
To be honest, at his age and experience, he still has a awful lot to contribute to football; however as Jah son states above the day to day demands, including flying all over the world, may be too much for him.
he has indeed sacrificed an awful lot. but not for us, oh no . he spent an awful lot of time counting his eight millions each year for doing shag all .it does now appear that he is not getting that “top” job in europe, as he stated when he “left” us , oh dear, could be have been telling untruths again, he is the professor of untruths, so i guess i will go with that theory.perhaps he is still counting those crisp english bank notes, lol.
Roy Hodgson is 2 years older and not in as good physical shape as Arsene and has never been as good a manager, so if he wants Arsene still has some 5 years in him. Heynckes was 73 the last time he completed Bayern’s season-rescuing mission.
I think he’ll just have to accept a mid-table French or German team (and take them to CL qualification). Everyone knows he’ll never accept an English job due to his love for Arsenal.
Class as always and don’t we need some of that at our club at this moment in time?
